   The seating was limited to one section of the restaurant. No advance notice nor explanation given. We were sat next to someone Woking on their laptop which felt like a wework. The attitude from the servers gave the impression they didn't want to be there.

   Food was good as was the wine of if I but pricey but it’s London so…the restaurant is buzzy with open kithchen and a lot of young men - and the chefs were all men - making quite a display cooking. There was a female who passed the orders on to them and she shouted as loud as she could. It was a bit of a performance tbh. I guess because the pass is noisy but it really didn’t make for a relaxing meal. I’d say don’t go if you want a nice romantic dinner.

   Delicious food, great entertainment. A little loud and service was soso but the food and atmosphere totally win it over.

    We celebrated my daughter's 19th birthday at Penelopes on Saturday evening and it was an incredibly memorable experience. While looking for somewhere celebrate we were attracted to the Israeli/Spanish cuisine and the idea of experiencing something cultural. Penelopes delivered everything from great service to great entertainment to great music and great food. The only disappointment for us was having to leave an hour after all the music and dancing started due to us having to catch rains back home. We discussed needing to make a plan to stay in London next time. We loved watching all the traditional dancing and how included we felt in it all. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My daughter had a fabulous time as well so all goals for the evening were achieved. Tamlyn Horton
