None truly embodies the true spirit of Ireland more than, Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Arlington Heights. What makes Peggy’s so unique is the fact that virtually every piece of the structure came directly from Ireland. All of the woodwork, including the bars themselves, were constructed and shipped directly from Ireland. Warm weather allows for tables outside around the beautiful perimeter. Children are welcome and free parking is available on the street and in a municipal garage just down the block. A professional staff, an inviting menu and an atmosphere that feels like Ireland all combine to make a visit to Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub an authentic and charming experience. Look for Irish food on the menu, Irish people serving and being served, and plenty of warm, friendly conversation with a few songs thrown in as the night goes on, and more than likely, you’ve found an authentic Irish pub, right here in Chicagoland.

Excellent corned beef and cabbage dinner. The decor is spot on for an Irish pub. Beautiful floors and Knick knacks. Our server was friendly but had way too many big tables. There was a private party near us that was super loud so we had a hard time talking to each other at our table.

Oh my goodness, the best shepherd's pie ever. The flavors were delicious and of course, loved the mashed potatoes. I was excited to have leftovers so I could enjoy again.
We tasted the Irish soda bread and it was so good,

We visit Peggys quite often and it is usually enjoyable and are happy with the food. We went Saturday for my 60th birthday with girlfriends. Our waiter was very disappointing, we mentioned my birthday and he made no comment or acknowledge it. You are in the hospitality business and he provided a service but without a smile or any personality. The food was good. But I'm disappointed when we received the bill for a party of 6 a automatic tip was on there which is okay but it was 22% including the liquor. I was surprised it was more the the typical 20% and mainly because it was not satisfactory service.
We visited on another evening during the week in December with friends after a show down the street it was 9p.m. and the bartender refused to service us ( my husband and friend ) because me and his wife were sitting at a table. The place was quite empty. The server came to us and we told him the guys were getting us a drink and we just stopped in for drinks. We left due to the disrespect from the bartender. So on my last two visit I did not receive the quality of hospitality I expect from my local irish pub. Peggy needs to improve their customer service policy in this economy.

First time going there. Very loud, which I guess is ok for a younger crowd which we aren’t. Food good and Guinness cold so that is good. Just too loud for me but nothing wrong with food or service.

The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. Our server Bianca, was personable and attentive and willing to engage with us. I was looking forward to a good corn beef sandwich and I wasn't disappointed. The food was served quickly and was hot and flavorful. And there was a lot of it. We all had leftovers to take home. It got a little noisy as the night progressed, but you'd expect that on a Saturday night at an Irish Pub.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and we're sure to return.,
