   We had been to Cornstone before and were looking forward to this place, esp as recently the latter had closed down.... On arriving the waitress showed us to a bar seating area, I mentioned we'd requested a nice quiet table, she then said it was that or nothing, I was quite shocked... Then a supervisor came over and I said the same thing, we were past customers of cornerstone and had requested a nice quiet table, same response.... We found this quite rude, especially when they had tables downstairs.... So it was the bar or go elsewhere.... So much for a romantic meal... On being seated i went to the loo downstairs, that was damp and smelt bad, sadly another negative....  The food arrived which seemed ages from when we ordered it, 12 oysters @ £58 (when u can get 6 for £11 in whitstable )..... they were delicious however.... Then the Kuiv and the lasagna another 20 min after.... One wonders if they were short staffed that evening.... I had to ask several times for a glass of wine (which we were charged double ).... Dessert was lovely.... Overall the food was nice, the ambiance not so and the service not great (except off anastasiia)  she was friendly and helpful....  The bill for 2 was £228.... Not cheap I sadly wouldn't go back.... Definitely not cornerstone and can't see it getting a star anytime soon sadly....

   Tom Brown knows seafood. Pearly Queen is extraordinary—every single thing I put in my mouth was sublime. My sole critique is the tasting menu, at 45 poinds per person, seems reasonable at first glance until you realize its not enough food, and leave still hungry.

   Beyond my expectations. A great atmosphere in terms of friendly, attentive and professional service. The food was excellent as expected and the ability to surprise with flavours was what made the food and drinks magical. My friend and I had a lovely time and I would recommend ❤️

   Absolutely delicious from start to finish. Stand outs include the deep fried oyster and crab bun but everything was very good indeed. Chose wine at the cheaper end of the range and both red and white were excellent. Service great and we are already looking forward to returning soon.

   First time at Pearly Queen having been to Cornerstone a few years ago. Had high expectations after Cornerstone and our expectations were exceeded. Incredibly high quality of food and really attentive service from everyone who looked after us. We loved every single course and dish that we had. Possible the best ever clam dish that I’ve ever had ! Thank you team Pearly Queen for a fantastic lunch and afternoon.

   Love our experience here! Service was brilliant, we had an overall 3 servers approach our table which supplied us with explanations of dishes as well as a great casual conversation. One of our dishes was unfortunately under cooked however when this happened we were provided with a fresh dish as well as fresh sides, on top of this we’re given a refresh of our wine, this made us very happy. We left so full and pleased, we will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend for any new future guests!! Shout out to Luca and Davide as well!
