We went for dinner on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant is really nice. It’s tucked away with this beautiful brick walkway/walls. It gave a bit of a European vibe. I liked how the bar and dining areas are separated. The staff were great and the food was even better. It was a beautiful Valentine’s evening. 10/10 would recommend and will be going back!

Appetizers are varied and tasty. Cocktails are numerous and good. Wednesday wine selection was good and discounted. The meals were good, but the pork chop won the night. Our waiter, Kip, was attentive and informative about the menu and guided us well. Definitely going back. A great place for a quiet, nice, relaxing, upscale dining experience.

My wife and I had an overall terrific experience at Paseo, dining at 7PM on a Wednesday night in February 2025 in the main dining room. The room was about half full, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was pleasant chatter and soft background music, but, refreshingly, it was easy to carry on a conversation Our server, Maya, was cheerful, knowledgeable about the menu, and very efficient. She helped us select their house made Parker rolls, the night’s special crab cake (to share as a starter), the duck breast, and the pork chop. All were delicious, and the portions were generous. Quite by accident we were there on a “Wine Wednesday” which features many bottles at $36 and others hugely discounted. We chose a Pays d’OC Comtesse Marion Pinot Noir which went very well with our entrees. We were too fully for dessert, but the choices looked attractive. Maya took very good care of us which added to our appreciation of the meal. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had an extraordinary dinner yesterday evening at Paseo. Access to the restaurant is down a charming cobblestone path, the interior is beautiful, and table spacing allowed for quiet conversation. Our server (Mia) was attentive without being intrusive, and was friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Menu options were all so appealing we had difficulty choosing, which is a good problem to have. The food was other-worldly. We plan to go back as soon as possible.

We had enjoyed Rosenthal brothers’ cooking in the past at Postrio and Town Hall. We had high expectations which were sadly not met. Aside from the mezze plate, the remainder of the menu was below average in taste and presentation. The service was poor (far too long between courses, with cold plates.) It was very noisy to a degree that we were unable to converse across the table. What a disappointment. There was some comment that Rosenthal brothers had taken over the bistro. If that is true, my plan is to try the bistro one more time once established I will have my fingers crossed as North Bay needs a Postrio-like restaurant of yesteryear. Bon chance.

The separate bar located across a brick enclosed pathway was quaint and the drinks were done well. The reservation was right on time and service was really nice. Our waitress was a gem, and checked in just enough. The meals (4) total, were all as ordered, came out nicely timed (following starters and salads/soups), and prepared/plated well. Definitely a spot to recommend and return to.

Christmas Eve dinner was expensive and lackluster. Menu options limited and boring, mainly ham and Cornish hen, which was dry. Didn’t see the limited Christmas Eve dinner menu online but I may have missed it. Overall disappointing evening. But service was great.

We were there for Christmas Eve. The prix fix menu featured Cornish Chan, glazed ham, and a vegetarian dish. The appetizers included a salad and mushroom soup. The side vegetables included a roasted root vegetable and broccolini. Of these there was not one that was satisfying. The Cornish hen was a half portion and was dry and tasteless. The glazed ham was a little different than sliced luncheon meat that you get in a grocery store and it was chewy without much sophistication. The roasted root vegetables were supposed to include beets and others, but turned out to be a few tasteless radishes. The broccolini was overcooked and again, lacking in flavor. The salad had minimal dressing on it and might’ve been better with a normal amount of dressing. All in all for four people, we spent nearly $600 which included two glasses of wine and one mock cocktail. Outrageous, considering the poor quality of the food! Will not go back…

Had a wonderful time at Paseo. Local family ordered burgers (for the kiddos; they also liked the fries and mac-n-cheese), scallops, steak and duck dishes. Duck dish was tough to cut and eat, but everything else was wonderful!
