Bit of an odd atmosphere as it was post match Saturday evening so bar was full of west hammers. Food was ok. Think they were a bit overwhelmed due to the crowds so food was slow coming out but the best thing was the team of young floor staff who were lovely. Charming and doing their very best under the circumstances. They’re a credit to the place and made an otherwise average experience memorable.

Followed the directions from their website on Apple Maps - ended up 1.1/4 miles away, so bad start - they need to update the location ! Was with 5 others, 4 of us ordered together - very long wait for food (40 mins), and when I got mine it was COLD ! Sent it back - another very long wait (20 mins or more) for replacement, by the time I got it everyone else had finished theirs. So we arrived at 3.15 and I finished eating at 5.30. Waitress said I could have the chips for free - but I'd already paid extra for them at the bar.....

Mother's Day roasts. Very well cooked and very generous sides. Fantastic carrots and parsnips and yummy cauliflower cheese. Had to take doggy bags home.

Terrific for lunch. Lovely light and space when the sun is out. Terrace is good for an after show cocktail.

Lovely new restaurant with an interesting menu, lovely staff and reasonably priced. We went just before a matinee performance and had 2 flatbreads with great toppings. We booked in advance but there are lots of tables.

Really tasty, well cooked , hot food. Great service and a very welcome addition to the lovely venue. It was more reasonable than many equivalent places. We will always eat there. It’s just what’s needed and so are the staff.

Interesting delicious dishes, presented well but in a relaxed way. Liked the set up of paying at bar and being able to order drinks separately. Makes meeting up with a group that much easier and removes any uncertainty about who’s paying for the bill 😉. Volume levels also perfect for having a conversation 👍
