Park Ave Kitchen opened quietly on 12/14/23, on the corner of 48th Street and Lexington Avenue in NYC. Located on the ground floor of beautiful 277 Park Avenue, Chef Burke created a New-American Brasserie with a widely varied food and beverage offering, thanks to its unique combination of ala carte dining room and cafe/grab & go shared space. Complemented by a high degree of hospitality, Park Ave Kitchen has quickly become one of the most popular midtown dining destinations.

From dry-aged steaks to fresh fish, sushi to juicy burgers, grain bowls to custom salads, delicious desserts and specialty coffees, Park Ave Kitchen offers something for everyone. Breakfast (served all day!), lunch, Happy Hour and dinner! The bar offers award-winning wines, an eclectic beer list, creative cocktails and mocktails.

    It was a wonderful experience and our server and the manager could not have been kinder and accommodating. The food was outstanding, especially the lobster dumplings and the popovers! The only thing that wasn’t perfect, and no fault of the restaurant, but every time the door opened, it was freezing. It was an exceptionally cold day. Perhaps they could put some sort of barrier on those cold days, but again no fault of the restaurant.

    From the beginning, the staff were very accommodating. We were stuck in holiday traffic coming from Staten Island and they were able to move our reservation…on a Saturday! When we got there, we were made to feel welcome. Our waiter, Zachariah is the best! Relaxed, funny and perfect, service-wise. He made an excellent wine suggestion and was just great from start to finish. The food was outstanding, from the bread service to the tin can chocolate cake. TIP - it takes 20 minutes to make but it is soooo good! Also, as with every other David Burke restaurant that We’ve been to , I appreciate the whimsy in the presentation of the desserts! We will be back!

    Saturday night during the holiday season and these guys were on their game. Caesar salad - crispy and a little tarte. Tomato bisque presented like a french onion crock and it rocked. Bolognese sauce delivered great flavor with a hint of bacon! Filet flavor and preparation were spot on. French fries were disappointing. Pick a different side. PLUS - enjoyed a Woodford Old Fashion and they nailed it.

    Overall, a bit disappointing again. Service a bit disorganized, food inconsistent, value not great. Space is nice and it was quiet, but overall we are unlikely to come back.

    Greatly recommend the bison short ribs served over polenta with green beans. The meat basically falls off the bone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
