The restaurant is nice. Great low lighting and the white table cloth with the white paper is a nice touch. The food was great. We had appetizers, a main course and dessert. Everything was good and the wait time was not too long. The manger performed leader rounding and the waitress was attentive.

Saw other guests receive dessert with candle for their birthday. We were a bit disappointed that they knew we there celebrating our father’s 80th birthday and they did nothing for him

This is a neighborhood gem. Nice ambiance, good selection of food choices, tasty cocktails all at reasonable prices. We went on a Saturday night at holiday time so it was busy and we were seated 30 minutes late for our reservation. The downside of this was the service was a bit slow, which normally wouldn't have bothered us, but we had 2 toddlers with us so as it ended up they and their mom ultimately had to have their dinner to go while the rest of us stayed to eat. Otherwise, the food was delicious, for example: the caesar salad had lots of white anchovies (love that!), the different seafoods in the frutti di mare were individually perfectly cooked, the rigatoni had a nice kick to it and was plentiful, the tiramisu was yummy!

Overall, a pretty disappointing fine dining experience. We had to wait over an hour to be seated and have our order taken even though we made reservations. The food was good, but not worth the price. Little details were lacking like having a steak knife served with my prime rib. The noise level was so high we had to almost shout to be heard. One disclaimer: it was a busy Saturday night during the holidays, but still… yeah

Initially made a reservation for two but an hour before, we had a third that wanted to join us so I called the restaurant and they easily accommodated us. We’re very much appreciative of the extra effort we enjoyed great cocktails, and the meal, our favorite spot in San Leandro for sure.
