We arrived home after a 12 hour journey from abroad, dropped our luggage and headed straight to Papaya for another fantastic meal! The chicken hawker noodles are amazing and the aubergine curry never disappoints. The service is also outstanding! Thank you!

We have been to Sri Lanka and one thing you realise very quickly at Papaya is that the food really is Sri Lankan and not Indian. However they do tone down the dishes for English tastes so you might need to remind them that you like it spicy (that is if you do). Great food, and reasonably priced.

This was our first visit to Papaya. The service was very attentive and the waiters did a very good job with a busy restaurant on a Thursday evening. Food was lovely although the portions were a bit smaller than other Indian restaurants. Good dishes and ingredients not just your average Indian curry. The meal was not cheap, nearly £100 for two people with a couple of beers in so it's nice as a treat.

This was our second time here and had a better experience this time. Food was delicious, they are very willing to chop and change any dishes you want. There were more people in this time which made for a better ambience. Find it a little expensive though.

Our visit to Papaya was for my fiances birthday. He was recommended by 2 people at his work. I was sceptical being of Sri Lankan background, my mums is by far the best in London! Was surprised how similar and tasty they were. Only thing i would say is you dont get a lot of curry for your money, i would expect bigger portions. Ambience was great, whole restaurant sang my fiance happy birthday and made him blush! Would definately visit again as want to try all on the menu :)
