Unfortunately this is not the experience advertised here. The menu listed on OpenTable was a restaurant menu which seemed high end and suitable for an occasion. In our case this was for a birthday. When we arrived and were handed menus, they were the pub menus for Sandyford House, so nothing other than the area we were sat in was different. When I asked about this, I was told they were "in between menus" but I just don't see it as acceptable to advertise your restaurant as having a higher end menu only to find out on arrival it's the standard Sunday roast fare. At least keep the old menu going until the new one is ready or update your OpenTable listing to state this. The room is nice and modern, it's a pity that they have a nicely decorated room and don't remove the numerous cobwebs around the glass ceiling. You could tell they've been there for some time. The waiting staff were very nice and starters and mains came out in good time. We waited an age for the desserts to arrive. Particularly frustrating was that the adult desserts came out ahead of the kids ice-creams, having already been waiting 20mins. I had requested a candle on a slice of cake for a birthday song but this never arrived and was never mentioned. Having waited 20mins for some ice-cream to arrive, we weren't going to stay for another age for the birthday cake. Overall, food was decent for pub grub. Definitely a tale of two halves as the Italian style dishes were delicious and roast was mediocre. Must be an Italian chef. They should just ditch the rest because it's not on par. Wouldn't go back again until I knew the menu had shifted. Made for a very forgettable birthday dinner.

I was underwhelmed. Fresh seafood platter was mostly battered and mayonnaise. The foie gras was in a fancy curved bowl that the knife couldn’t reach into well. The brioche fell apart. Felt like premium pricing/position that fell down on the finer details. Noise was VERY loud. Server was quite pushy about closing us out. Would not go back.

The food and service are top class in this new gem Panacea we have unearthed. It is exquisitely high standard. The conservatory-type dining room can be a little hot, with greenhouse effect but I would visit again.

Nice open bright space, can get a bit bright on sunny day, bring the shades! Food was on point, waiter staff were attentive, a little more expensive than other places for brunch but worth the trip, will be returning 👍

Food is excellent. Best Sunday Roast I've had out. Meat is always tasty and tender with nice selection of fresh and tasty veg too. Cater for toddlers and good value.
