   This is our 5th visit to Budapest and also this restaurant . On our very first visit we’re were amazed by the quality and hospitality, however we feel this has declined over the years. Food served was average at best and tepid. I don’t think it’s currently value for money.

   The food is really good. The steak is worth the money, definitely. The overall experience was unfortunately not as good. It was very noisy, my boyfriend and I were not able to keep a normal conversation going. I have been to this restaurant numerous times as I used to live in Budapest. It seems like they now are focusing more on having room for as many people as possible instead of keeping the authentic environment I have previously experienced. Which is sad. The waiter misunderstood us several times due to the noise. They seemed extremely busy and not attentive to their guests. Anyhow, they know their food and wine - which is top notch. I would, however, not come back.

   I have been to Pampas Steakhouse many times and have always been satisfied with the food, wine and service. Really outstanding service! Probably the best steaks in Budapest, highly recommended.

   Absolute class, one the best meals I have had, I he mixed grill. Steak was amazing, lamb was amazing, cheese and spinach was amazing. The service was class, our waiter was friendly and super helpful…I would recommend this place all day long

   We was 5 guys visiting & enjoyed the best meal of our entire trip at Pampas, where everything was excellent. From the settings, atmosphere, waiters, the wine selection and especially the meat. We felt very much attended too by the waiters, which also gave us good advice to wines for the courses. This was a tremendous experience and we will surely be back another time.

   The food was quite good, but the service left much to be desired. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were initially prevented from entering without any explanation. The staff member at the entrance didn't communicate, and only later did we realize they needed our name for registration. A simple question would have clarified the situation, but instead, it created confusion, as we thought we needed to speak with someone else. Once inside, we were seated at a table that wasn’t in a convenient location. When we asked to change, there was no verbal response, just a dismissive gesture. I pointed to another table and asked if we could sit there, and only with a nod did the waiter approve. As for the meal, while the food itself was good, there were issues with the details. I asked for barbecue sauce but was given pepper sauce instead. Additionally, I had requested a medium-well steak, but it arrived well-done. In summary, while the food was enjoyable, the service experience significantly detracted from our overall dining experience.

    After reading some reviews I expected a lot more from this restaurant. The food was not even mediocre good and compared to the price it was really not worth it. All in all a disappointing experience and would not recommend if you are after a good juicy steak
