   Had to try the Palmwoods Hotel Parmie night and it did not disappoint. Three different Parmies on our order. All three were of ample size with a good serving of chips and salad. Highly recommended

   Late Sunday afternoon lunch so was quiet. Meals were great. Staff were very good and the cocktails they made were exceptional.

   We were left standing at the sign that says, wait here to be seated for quite a long time, they opened at 4pm this was now 5pm, fortunately a young lady arriving to work there, stopped to check us in and show us to a table, at this time there were more staff hanging around in groups talking than there were customers. Went to the bar to buy a drink and a male staff member looked at me then turned back to carry on his conversation, eventually he came over to serve me. I next went to the meal order counter, no staff member was present, a cook in the kitchen rang a bell to get the attention of any staff member, after some time, the young girl who had led us to our table served me, still rest of the gathered in groups chatting. When the meal arrived it was bearly warm, obviously took sometime after it had been prepared to be picked up and delivered to the table. When we finished our meals, the same young lady who at greeted us came to pick up our plates, we informed her of our disappointment with the meal and the service, I told her that if she wasn't there we would probably still be waiting at the check in, she offered to talk to the manager on our behalf and maybe get us a free glass of wine, we thanked her, but declined it was now very busy and noisy, shame its been our goto place for sometime, but not anymore.

   Lovely experience again, delicious food served in a timely manner. Nice atmosphere on the verandah. We are so fortunate to have one of our very favourite hotels and only 15 minutes from home!

   We always eat at lunch and usually choose from the lunch menu is just perfect. Of course the full menu is available which is absolutely perfect. The barramundi is fabulous as are all the burgers and sandwiches. The club is my personal favourite. Great balcony area for small groups or couples. Beer garden recommend for families with kids.

   Always good food here. We had a table of 7 and everyone was happy with their meals. Only negative is cocktails took a very long time to come out.
