We have eaten here on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. We normally choose from the pre theatre menu which is excellent VfM. I had the beef bourguignon which was very tasty and plenty of it ! The restaurant also has a nice ambiance and the staff are friendly and attentive.

This was our 2nd visit and once again we were not disappointed. The 3 of us chose to order from the fixed price pre theatre meal. Our server was a lovely lady called Denby and she definitely added to the whole experience. For starters we all chose the brie in filo - cooked beautifully and the cranberry chutney was a great accompaniment. For mains 1 chose the beef bourginon which she said was melt in your mouth and had the most delicious flavours. My other friemd and myself chose the fish option which was Stone Bass served on a bed of couscous- it was cooked to perfection. For dessert one had chocolate tart and the other 2 of us had the crème brûlée my absolute favourite. The service was great, all staff very friendly and the food was hot and of good quality. If you are in Covent Garden and you want beautiful food at a reasonable price then Palm Court Brasserie is the place to go

Palm Court Brasserie is still one of the best value menus in London, but not only that, the food is quality and plentiful, the staff are friendly, respectful and always welcoming and it has a great ambiance. We will continue to return here and never tire of the extensive menu.

Food was good and the ambiance was OK. Unfortunately I was ripped off with the wine by being charged £30 for two small glasses of wine that the waiter recommended (obviously he wasn't a dumb waiter - I thought he was a bit keen to offer me a second glass!). I have been going to Palm Court Brasserie a few times a year for over 40 years but I don't think I'll be rushing to go back again.

The French onion soup was delicious and the goat cheese salad had very fresh greens but the pecans were overly sugary. The seafood main dishes (bouillabaisse, grilled sea bass, salmon) were good and hearty but a bit overcooked or dry. Service was okay: we had to ask repeatedly for water. Ambience and interior decorating was fun French brasserie.

We had the 3 course lunch menu good value at £23.95 booked table for4. 2 of us had soup as starter and we have been many times to Palm Court and always served with bread however today when I asked for some bread with the soup we were charged £4.95 which I don’t think acceptable. This was my only complaint as the rest of the meal was great however we chose a bottle of Picpoul de Pinetwhich was lovely but expensive at£34.95 as we are from the North East and don’t pay anywhere near that but that’s London prices for you
