   A wonderfully cozy restaurant with great food, clean cutlery, and excellent service! We booked Palermo at the last minute for a 7:30pm dinner on Sunday night, and we were lucky enough to get a table. We shared the Parraillada for Two and the Branzino, and both were very tasty. Our waiter was attentive and polite, and he also had a very warm sense of humor. He took the time to explain the Argentian pronunciations for each of our dishes, which we appreciated. Some people in our party had not been back to New York City in over a decade, and this restaurant was an excellent first meal to reintroduce them to the city after a long flight. Thank you!

   The food here was fantastic—everything we ate was full of flavor and clearly made with care. However, the service really let the experience down. My main course arrived, but my wife’s dish took an extra 30 minutes or at least 15 after I’d finished despite being assured it was “on the way.” During that awkward wait, no one offered her a drink, so she just sat with nothing in front of her while I had to eat my meal in stages to keep it from going cold. When her food finally arrived, the waiter said, “This is on me,” but we were still charged for it—only a glass of wine was deducted. By that point, we were frustrated, late, and just wanted to leave, so we paid in cash and walked out. He did offer us a piece of flan as some sort of consolation, but the damage was already done. A real shame, because the food deserved better service to match.

   They accommodated our last minute additions to our party without hesitation. Fun ambiance on the third floor with music and great service. Everyone enjoyed their selections and the food portions were large.

   We ate at Palermo Argentinian Bistro for the first time on Friday night. We found this restaurant reviewed in Gotham magazine under "where to eat before a show in NYC" and it had received strong recommendations. I am here to tell you they were right except it was even BETTER than described. The service was incredible from the start, our waiter was gracious and attentive but not hovering. He even brought us a complimentary glass of Prosecco at the end. All the food incredibly fresh with out of this world unique flavor combinations and some of the best steak I have ever had! We will definitely go back again!

    Excellent modern Argentine restaurant in a bistro-like setting. Whether you have steak, chicken, or fish, it's all grilled to perfection. Each cut was flavorful, with little excess fat - the short ribs, skirt steak, and sweetbreads stand out. Less impressive was the sirloin. Eric was a fabulous host and consummate professional, and treated us very warmly. The desserts we had were great: the classic panqueques con dulce de Leche, and the less common banana bread pudding, both delicious. Highly recommended for a night out or pre-theater.
