   It was Valentine’s Day and even though u don’t like set menus, Palace Arms knocked it out of the park with a Waygu filet and a monkfish, that was outstanding, as your choices. Well done Palace Arms. Plus, the chocolate covered strawberries as a throw in was an awesome touch.

   Our first time at Palace Arms for Valentine's dinner and we were very impressed. The food at Brown Palace in general is absolutely delicious and the Palace Arms food was exquisite. The ambiance is fantastic and the dining room is just so beautiful. You feel like you are transported to another century. Best of all is the wait staff who treat you like you are the only customer there. They clearly want to please their customers and it shows. We highly recommend Palace Arms if you are looking for a special dinner with outstanding food. You will spend some money but it is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

   Smoke from Cigar room next door made it unbearable to breathe. One waiter and everything TOOK forever. Constantly had to remind them to bring our drinks which took almost 30+ minutes. I rarely ever write a review but they should shut this place down for the price they charge and super low service and horrible smells coming into a restaurant. Don’t waste your time going no matter how nice the pictures look and or reviews!

The ventilation in the cigar lounge has since been repaired and no longer poses an issue, I can absolutely understand how that would ruin your night out. It sounds like we may have been too short staffed the evening you joined us, as your description of your experience does not match the standards of excellence we strive for.    The service was good. The food was fair, portion size was very small and EXTREMELY expensive. While the room was beautiful, the stench of cigar smoke was nearly unbearable. So, to be clear: food was only fair, portions were small, cost was unacceptable, and the room smelled bad. I cannot recommend!

   We had a wonderful dinner/celebration at the Palace Arms. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Mary, our server could not have been more friendly and informative, she made great recommendations.

   We booked dinner during the Christmas season and it was definitely a huge disappointment. We walked up to the hostess stand and there was a luggage rack with dirty dishes from an event to greet us. The cigar bar door was open and cigar smoke was present throughout dinner - another customer complained. The food was very expensive and sub par. We didn't even get our pre dinner cocktail for over 40 mins! The place is run down and poorly run. So sad to see such an iconic place is that state. I would strongly recommend against going there :(

   Portions are small. The appetizers more so. Food was fair. Wine was good. Bread was very good. Expressed an allergy to lobster twice during the order and confirmed it would not be part of the dish. Then asked and confirmed again when served to verify there was no lobster. The dish was loaded under the fish and sauce with lobster. It took 5 people to listen to the issue and the “manager” was #4. He said he’d fix it and didn’t. However they did take off $400 from the $550 bill. Won’t go again. Too bad because it’s such a beautiful place.

    The setting was beautiful and the food was good if overpriced. However, our service was slow and somewhat inattentive.
