Mediocre service - server didn’t really know the menu. In my opinion the front of house let the kitchen down. Also there were clerical errors with my bill that resulted in being overcharged. Different prices being charged than what was on the menu.

friendly staff, we were seated quickly - enjoyed everything we ordered (stuzzichini del giorno, lasagna verdi +pappardelle con l’anatra) and it was the perfect portion size for the two of us to share. Lively and classy atmosphere without feeling stuffy or rigid. Will definitely return ::)

My friend and I both ended up ordering from the ample restaurant week menu and added an order of gnocco fritto post my recent trip to the Emilia Romagna area where it was ubiquitous and were not disappointed; so pillowy. We also ordered a bottle of a lovely Italian Cab Merlot blend that we very much enjoyed. All of our courses were delicious and the portions were surprisingly large. We both ordered the Stracotto alla Parmigiana (braised beef cheeks) for our entree and they were so(!) tender and flavorful. The service was satisfactory, although dishes were brought to the table before the previous course was finished and/or empty plates were removed. Our server did some fuzzy math with our bill but all in all it was a most enjoyable meal and evening.

As always, dinner at La Spiga was an incredible experience. The ambiance, the service, the delicious, simple food. You really can't go wrong with the bread service (all of it!), the prosciutto board, some crostini, an insalata mista and, of course, the tagliatelle with truffle butter. Top it off with a shared panna cotta and your own affogato and you have the recipe for an amazingly tasty night. Fantastic evening all around!!

We have been to Osteria La Spiga numerous times but was disappointed with the food at this visit. Perhaps we should have gone with the regular menu instead of SRW ones. The Chicken Cacciatore looked rather and tasted rather bland and anemic with large portions of chicken quarter and roasted potatoes. Not even a sprinkling of parsley for color. The beef cheeks were tender but slightly too salty. We will return another time to see if still is our favorite place.

Service was kind and attentive. We had the Seattle Restaurant Week menu which was fine but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the NA cocktail which was quite good.

Wonderful food and service. Big portions. The black truffle pasta special was outstanding, with considerable amount of shaved truffle. Only downside is that they desperately need a valet, parking is difficult.
