   If you want authentic Italian food and authentic dining experience then this is where you want to go. My husband and I dined there for his birthday. If you are adventurous go for the chef's three course meal. Ours ended up being a five course meal counting the complimentary bruschetta upon seating and an extra the chef threw in. The chef decides each course on the go, so you don't know what is coming out of the kitchen. It was so fun and the food was top notch. Maybe not something for picky eaters but I would definitely do that again. The prices were very fair for the high quality servings we received. Next time I would love to try their pizza which is tailored to each region in Italy giving you a true taste of Italy. The staff was lovely and very professional. We never felt rushed. We went on a Tuesday night meaning it's probably less busy so we were afforded the time to dine there two hours. I believe a reservation is a 90 min time slot, so we definitely lucked out. Looking forward to returning with friends.

   Had dinner at 8 pm Saturday the 30th November 2024. Immediately greet3d tskenntonout table, presented menus and asked about drinks. Waiter was fast and courteous. Came back with delicious complimentary bruschetta. Service was superb throughout our server and the owner combined. Food was out of this world (shared steak tartare followed by a caprese salad, both some of the best we've ever eaten). Had 2 bottles of house chianti very good and reasonably priced. Mains were the veal special, substituting a chefs choice pasta (both delicious) and a bianchi pizza with sausage. Deliciously balanced. We can't wait to go back as soon as we are in Calgary again--bravo!

   Came here before a theatre performance. It was an excellent start to the night - the food was delicious, the caprese salad was the best I’ve ever had, and the servuce was thoughtful and efficient as we made it to our show in good time.

   Mike and his team provide a very authentic Italian eating experience with great food, beverages and ambiance. Highly recommend an evening here. It will become your new favorite!

   We had a wonderful evening celebrating our friend’s birthday and will absolutely be coming back, the food was amazing, the service was wonderful and it was actually pretty quite inside the restaurant which made it way easier to have good conversation!

   Extremely disappointing. Had always wanted to try this place and so we went for a friend's birthday. Pizza was undercooked and had to be sent back. Steak was ordered medium and came out medium rare. Didnt return it, but didnt finish it either. We weren't even offered refills on our water They discounted our meal $10. Wanted to leave without tipping but the poor server, it wasn't his fault he was by himself and was made to serve crap food. Wonder if it was an off night for them but we won't be going back to check.

    Loved this place! The service was perfect, it was nice and quiet and the food was wonderful. We shared prawns and my mom had the Vitello Osteria and I had the catch of the day - my salmon melted in my mouth. Great selection of wine. This is an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Kensington.
