   The food is good but the service is very weird. We were sat in a restaurant with plenty of tables and told by our waiter we needed to hurry and decide what we wanted because they needed to turn the table quick. They said they also weren’t serving dessert because it was too busy. We had to grab his attention for everything. He also claimed gratuity is included. Tourist trap.

   The service was ok, but the food was terrible for the price. The pasta was worse than something I could cook myself. It was under cooked and lacked taste.

   Best salad and calamari were good. Unfortunately the fettuccine fruit de mare was underwhelming. The lobster was very mushy and the noodles could’ve been cooked a bit longer (not al dente enough). And they are so busy they did not check on us until the dishes were cleared. We told them our thoughts and they offered us dessert but we said no.

   Osteria Barocca was a great find. The ambiance is not fancy but the food was outstanding There were 4 of us, we shared app\tizers, salads, pastas, fish and a pizza. Everything was really delicious and the service was great. We will definitely return.

   Wasn't lucky with a meal selected... wine card was very small for an Italian restaurant, but the place looked beautiful and service was very good.

   Friendly waiters, delicious appetizers and pretty interior. Chef replaced our mussels which were too spicy with no hesitation. They did seem to be having a bathroom issue. Sinatra fans only!

   We changed this reservation several times, the numbers in our group kept changing and then our time kept changing. The restaurant was very accommodating when our group of 10 showed up 45 minutes earlier than the time we had finally reserved. We were seated promptly. For appetizers we ordered Caesar salad, calamari and margarita pizza. The calamari and pizza were both delicious. I have never had so much cheese on a slice of pizza. The Caesar salad was extremely disappointing. It had virtually no dressing. It was essentially just romaine lettuce with some grated Parmesan cheese and croutons. For a main course I had one of the specials, squid ink rigatoni with seafood Fra Diavlo. I was warned by our waiter that it was spicy, but the spice level was not as high as I would have liked. Rigatoni seemed like an unusual choice for the pasta, but it was fine. There was plenty of seafood in the dish. My husband had chicken Marsala, which he enjoyed. Although both he and our daughter commented that the pasta was “too Al dente.” Overall the food was good, but nothing spectacular. The service was fine, but again, nothing stood out. My husband complained that he expected better ambiance in an Italian restaurant in Little Italy. He would have liked tablecloths on the tables. The music was too loud for us, especially since our table was directly under a speaker, making it difficult for our group to talk. They eventually turned the music down, but we had to ask several times. The choice of music was also unusual. I’m not even sure what was playing, but it certainly did not seem appropriate for an Italian restaurant. Eventually the music switched to Frank Sinatra , which we much preferred. The prices were great, which was a nice surprise when the check came. For the 10 of us, the total cost, including tax and the included 20% tip was only $626. At that price, the food was definitely worth it.
