Danilo Orofino was born in Palermo, Sicily, where he studied the culinary arts as well as restaurant and hotel management. He opened his first restaurant/coffee bar in Sicily at the age of 18. After 4 years of hard work, he closed the place with dreams of doing even more with his life.

    In town for two nights and chose Orafino from Open Table website reviews. Good pick and food lived up to high reviews. We received personal attention from mgr because we had to wait 30 min for our 6pm reserved table because prior couple at our table refused to leave when asked after they loitered well past their allotted time meal time. Very rude! But both our meals were excellent and service spot on.

    My daughter chose Orofino for her birthday dinner because it is ALWAYS booked and we haven't been able to make a reservation for probably about a year. Salad, lasagna, and calzone were very good. Sadly, they forgot chicken on my daughter's gnocchi so rest of us were nearly done eating by the time meal was brought back out. My gluten free pasta was VERY under done and sauce had an unpleasant vodka? type effect that was not there on previous visits. Also refused to sub chicken for spicy sausage so disappointing. Server was pleasant but not as attentive as other staff. Birthday was indicated on reservation and no acknowledgement even made so kind of sad. Overall, not up to previous visits over the years......

    My second time eating here. I come here for business once a year. The food is great. I appreciate the map that shows the regions of Italy. The gnocchi was delicious. Rubi was a great server.
