FEATURING Umbria: Nestled in the ‘green heart’ of Italy, Umbria’s cucina povera (peasant cooking) relies on fresh, seasonal ingredients with simple preparations.  Menu: APPETIZER: Zuppa di Ceci e Castagne A hearty chickpea and chestnut soup from the old hilltop town of Todi, Perugia. SECONDI: Pasta alla Norcina Pasta from the ancient town of Norcia, Perugia, featuring al dente fresh pasta in a creamy white wine sauce with mushrooms and house-made pork sausage. ENTRÉE: Gallina Ubriaca A regional delight, this tender ‘drunken’ chicken is marinated in Orvieto wine and grappa, then slowly cooked to deliver a flavourful dish with Umbria’s rustic charm.

    We will reserve Oro for special occasions, the prices are little high for regular dining. We are on a fixed income now, and we couldn’t afford dining here on a regular basis. The food is very good though.

    My husband and I came in for lunch today. He had the Italian Sausage soup and the Spicy Rigatoni. I had the Panzanella Salad and the Spaghetti Beef Ragu. We also shared the cheesecake for dessert! Everything was delicious! The food tastes wonderful. Really a nice treat to have the food freshly prepared. We are always pleased with the food and service at ORO! Thank you for taking care of us today, Sergei!

    Over priced and overstated. Servings are very small, pasta dishes in particular and nothing included, no bread , no garlic toast , just basic, hardly a full meal . The pasta is good but overpriced considering small servings and zero frills. . They serve warm water out of a pitcher with no ice. If you want a drink of cold water, seems you have to ask for ice ! Not what you would expect from a high end, high priced restaurant. Very disappointed.

    It was our first time in Oro and really the overall experience was amazing. Our server was on top of everything. However, the music does not match the Restaurant theme. The Chocolate cake simply outstanding. We will definitely come back soon. Best regards,

    The husband and I had been meaning to visit for a long time and after our visit we left wishing we had made time months earlier! Everything was incredible. Ambiance and the food were on point. Can’t wait to return and try other items. Highly recommend a visit if you haven’t been yet.
