   Love the ambience, reminded me of Speakeasy in New York! My friend had pizza which she enjoyed thoroughly and I had Chicken Alfredo, prepared differently, good though the serving was in the small side. Caesar salad was good. Dessert was Toffee Pudding which we shared, very good. This was the luncheon special, with a glass of Prosecco, cost was good. Will go again on my birthday in January for sure! Lovely, quiet setting.

   My meal was very delicious but very little pasta for me. I would have liked to eat a little more pasta for my lunch, I did choose the option of 1/2 order which was fine with the other pasta I had ordered before. Enjoyed the salad and glass of wine.

   The $25 lunch special was enjoyed by all 3 of us. The wild mushroom soup of the day was delicious, as was the panzanella salad. We all liked our pasta main dishes, but keep in mind they’re not huge at this price. Sergeii provided great service!!

   Decor was lovely, but although there was an excellent themed playlist of music drawn from the 1940s and '50s (Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, etc.) that complemented the decor and the overall vibe, it was WAY too loud and the acoustics in the room--particularly in the tiled alcove near the bar where we were seated--don't allow for that volume. It was difficult to converse over the music and we found it distracting and irritating. That said, we asked twice that it be turned down and on both occasions it was; the second time it remained down so it enhanced the ambience rather than detracted and distracted. The food was okay. Not great, not memorable, nothing special. The kitchen tried, but we both found our meals (vongole for me; spaghetti beef ragu for my friend) fairly pedestrian. The service, however, was outstanding. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, professional without being cold, helpful without being overbearing. She was a real gem and absolutely the best thing about our dining experience. If I could recommend this restaurant it would be on the strength of the service alone. It really was top notch.

   Oro was a delightful surprise. I enjoyed the service, the setting, and was more than satisfied with my meal. What made the event extra-special is that my wife, who has celiac disease, was able to order an Alfredo - which she never gets to do - AND, her gluten free fettuccini noodles were freshly made right in the building. Thank you Oro! We will be back - very soon!

   We really enjoyed our visit. The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. The waitress recommended a few items which we ordered and we enjoyed them all. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   I was so excited to try Oro, and was sadly very disappointed. The server was probably the worst part for us… he wasn’t rude or anything like that, but just not up to par. He wouldn’t come check on us to order for quite a while, then when I finally was able to order a glass of wine, he forgot, and I had to remind him after the appetizers. After our meal finally came, he left while the table was trying to ask to get some pepper. It took actually an other person (unsure if staff or not) to signal to him we had been trying to get his attention (he was talking to someone at the bar and our table was about a meter away ish, we would have stood up to ask if the passer by hadn’t signalled him so thank you stranger!). Even asking for bill we had to remind him as we waited. Just a lot of us waiting, which if we could see he was extremely busy and working hard to attend to everyone, we would’ve completely understood. But he seemed to be socializing with the bartender, then someone who was seated at the bar he seemed to know, again right by us. I try to give the benefit of the doubt to service workers, but this seemed lazy to me. Otherwise, our table had mixed reviews about the food depending on what we ordered. More so that the price of everything seemed way too high for what we were getting. I actually loved my entree, I had potato leak ravioli. But I know the rest of my table was disappointed with their orders. It was also insanely hot in there haha but it sounds like there was just a temporary issue with their furnace/ac so I would never hold that against them. I’m sure that will get resolved. Though I loved that ravioli, I won’t be going again as the prices are too high and service wasn’t good. (for my 8 ounce of red wine, the lowest price was 22ish$ if I remember correctly) The chef clearly is good! But the prices and some of the portions should probably be adjusted. Go to pyro if you want to go to LOCA. We had a way better experience there.
