   Was a little disappointed with the lack of accommodation for gluten free options and substitutions. We were there for Thanksgiving so I know the menu was limited, but the waitress did say most of the sushi rolls were on their normal menu. But none of the specialty rolls were celiac friendly. So I paid way too much for a California roll that was just ok. Though the Korean corn was the bomb even if they couldn’t give me the taro chips because they fry them in the same oil as their tempura dishes. For an expensive restaurant like that, I would’ve expected they had room for a separate fried to accommodate allergies and make a specialty roll for us with allergies instead of only offering a basic roll that we can eat anywhere else.

   We were so fortunate to have Katie (Kathryn) as our server. She’s the best!! From the professionals on the host/hostess stand to the manager Noel, Orions is an experience you do not want to miss. The most incredible sushi and other dishes. A wonderful experience. We’ll be back !!!!!

   Food was cold. Not good. Very disappointed. We will never go there again. Wasn’t worth it. Spent $419 for 5 people. The cost wasn’t the issue. It was the quality, but when you spend $419 for dinner and it was horrible…. 😡🤬 We were better off making Kraft Mac n cheese and ordering Taco Bell than eating there.

   Unfortunately the ambience did not match the experience.We waited 20 minutes after being seated before being approached by our server.After receiving drinks it was another 15 before giving our food order.Our appetizers while very tastefully prepared arrived warm not hot ,something inexcusable when one of the items was fried. Our entrees were also delivered by food runners and while the entree of Halibut was hot ,the kale as well as the sweet potatoes were tepid. As a restaurant who promotes itself as an extraordinary culinary experience its execution falls far from the mark. While our server was extraordinarily pleasant it did not compensate for her inattentiveness.Perhaps they were short staffed for the holiday but I was underwhelmed by our experience.

   Food selection was limited due to the Holiday. Although, waiter states it’s the holiday menu which we thought meant a special Thanksgiving selection. We ordered rockfish. Which was okay. The ambience was nothing short of disappointing as we were seated by the bar area although we had reservations for the main dining room. We will not be back.

   We were impressed by the visual appeal as soon as we were off the elevator, but were annoyed by the music's volume. Thankfully, our table was around the corner and very quiet and comfortable. The view of the beach and ocean were terrific. Our server Matt was friendly, attentive, and very professional. The food was some of the best we've had during our week-long stay. Excellent sushi and fresh branzino. The desserts were excellent, but we didn't need two. One was enough for 2-3 people. Coffee was fresh and reminded us of the best European cafes. All in all, we were delighted by our experience and would definitely go back if we visit the area again.

   Excellent choice to dine here. The view from 23rd floor, classy atmosphere, great service that made us feel special. Of course the food was tops.

   the food and service at Orion's are always top notch. The views are unmatched in Virginia Beach ! We head here for special occasions and when friends are jn town. We love Orion's and we'll be back

    I went on Thanksgiving Day and had the best Salmon ever. The views from my table were awesome and so was the waiter who served me. I loved the ambience and the view on the 23rd floor at the Oceanfront. They offer a good selection of Seafood and meat dishes. The desert menu has several options and its presentation was excellent. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner and special occasions. It would be perfect for large groups but reservations will be required.
