   This was a fabulous restaurant! The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. We celebrated my son’s Birthday and all 4 of us enjoyed everything we ate. The focaccia is a must - we enjoyed the Cesare salad, carpaccio, & warm olives to start, and then went on to try the pasta’s which were delicious; spaghetti al Limone, Cacio e Pepe, and the pappardelle bolognese! We tried one pizza that was fantastic… FICHI. Such a great combination of figs, and honey, with fior di latte, arugula and stracciatella. Dessert was the best gelato I’ve ever had - lemon and a second one was cheesecake! Both were full of flavour. We also had to have the tiramisu- which was undeniably the best we had ever had! Can’t wait to go back soon.

   Terrific food, and great service. The noise level in the room was VERY loud -- too high for it to be comfortable. We had difficulty hearing each other throughout the meal. The service staff are quite pleasant, and efficient. The food was very good, as always.

   Food is great. We ordered capricciosa pizza and fritto di calamari. Exceptionally, cappuccino is great as I'm a coffee lover. Service is very attentive and food is coming pretty fast. However, whenever I visit Oretta it's always super noisy, so that you need to raise your voice. It's one of the greatest disappointment... By the way we visited on lunch time in the weekend, I suppose it's always like this.

   My friend and I had a great time. The service was impeccable. Our sever was very knowledgeable about the dinner menu and the wine list. It’s always a pleasure to go to Oretta Midtown or any of the Family’s other restaurants. The GM remembered us from the previous weeks brunch and went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. My friend works in the fine dining industry and is hard to impress but she was very satisfied with our meal and quality of the service. Can’t wait to go back. Even saw an old friend from Capocaccia who had also discovered Oretta .

   I had booked standard seating but we were seated on the enclosed patio. I asked to be moved to the general dining area but they wouldn’t/ couldn’t accommodate. We spent close to $600.00 to sit on outdoor patio furniture on a sloping floor… no thank you, never again.

   Pizza was good. Caesar salad excellent. Thought we were off to good start. 3 of us had the pasta w vongole, mine was barely warm. I didn't say anything. One in our party of 6 reluctantly sent his ragu pasta back, he said it was hard to chew, v undercooked. 4 out of 6 of our entrees were a bit disappointing. Resto was v busy. It was recommended to us by friends. Our empty dinner plates sat for well over half hr before being cleared. Maybe too busy a night.
