   Ambience is lovely with great views and nice decor. The waiting staff are friendly and professional. However the service was very slow - not enough staff I think. Our food was tasty but our main was quite cold - we would have complained but as we had waited 90 mins for mains to arrive we decided just to eat it as we were hungry . It promised so much but for the price did not hit the mark.

   The food was really nice the presentation and taste was great. The place itself is so nice I am glad we visited around winter time as it felt very cosy and festive. I have to say our table service by Michela was perfect, she is so lovely and well spoken and presents the food well and makes you feel very welcome and comfortable.

   I chose the restaurant to make a birthday for a friend special but was my worst disappointment . 1. Too cold! I now have a cold and we were uncomfortable all through. I had given notes to write happy birthday with the name. When they brought the cake non chalantly and said “they are told someone’s birthday is on this table” it lacked a personal touch and we felt really down the whole time and left without dessert. We couldn’t wait to get away. This is definitely my last visit. The food presentation was also very poor.

   It was our 25th anniversary and I requested a window table for intimacy in what is a busy and very popular restaurant and the view They seated us beautifully, everyone wished us happy anniversary and they finished probably the best three course meal weve ever had with chocolate truffles with an anniversary message Excellent

   t’s a pretty place and the waiters are lovely but unfortunately the food was absolutely terrible, the starters were still edible but the mains were terrible., we ordered a steak some rice and the soup of which only the soup was edible, the waiter was nice enough to remove the steak from our bill hence the 4 stars for the service but the actual food is awful. Unfortunately I’d honestly say don’t go and save yourself the disappointment and your money. Genuinely really upset I chose this place for my partners birthday.

   The setting of the restaurant is excellent. It is well appointed, terrific views - didn't realise that Birmingham could look so good! The food was OK overall. The main course pheasant and pork were quite good and well presented but were expensive for the portion size. The crab starter would have been good if there had been more than a teaspoon of actual crab meat, similarly the amount of mushrooms in the starter was not impressive. The food was well presented however and tasted good. The staff were all pleasant, approachable and professional. The atmosphere when we arrived was excellent, but being a bit older than the average diners, we did not like the music that became very loud after 9pm. Made conversation a bit difficult. We would go back, but would probably choose lunchtime rather than the evening
