   The service was absolutely awful. The starters were brought out while we still had plates from the snacks, which hadn’t been cleared away beforehand. The starters were then plated without clearing the table properly. We had one vegan in our party, and when the waitress asked if we wanted bread, we said yes. However, it was served with non-vegan butter, and there were no vegan alternatives such as olive oil provided. We waited for well over an hour for our food, which was only the Sunday roast they were serving. When it finally arrived, all the vegetables were cold.

   Sunday lunch was not the best and expected more. Beef stringy (already sent one back due to fatty pieces served), vegetables cold, no flavour in gravy. Service poor. Disappointing.

   This is the first time I’ve been to Orelle. There were 6 ladies celebrating our friend’s Birthday. The food was excellent. The whole ambience of the restaurant was fabulous and Birmingham looked wonderful lit up when it went dark. Wonderful views. I would certainly come back here for a special occasion as it’s not a cheap meal out!

   Lovely meal at lunchtime we chose the 3 course menu. Staff very attentive and quick service. Limited choice of desert and cider. View was great over Birmingham.

   Amazing views and very comfortable space. Service very attentive and some amazing flavours. The ham hock starter was incredible and the chicken dish a joy. Chocolate fondant was perfect and the accompanying ice cream a very good match. Friendly but not intrusive service. I left my phone there and the good service continued in helping me to arrange to get it back even though I live hours away.

   We were among the first to arrive; within five minutes, a waiter approached us to present the menu. They were incredibly helpful in explaining some of the dishes and accommodating our inquiries about halal and vegetarian options. Someone was always available to address any questions and offer beverages, ensuring we didn't wait long to order and received the bill promptly after finishing. The restaurant itself was nicely lit, and the weather enhanced the atmosphere a bit, with the golden hour creating a lovely backdrop so early, as it is located on the 24th floor. The food was fabulous, and their salmon was one of the finest I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The wait for the food felt brief; the bird's eye view captivated me as I waited, making the time fly. The only minor downside was the lint on the table upon arrival (which I presumed was from the napkins). Although the sunlight made it appear worse, it wasn't a significant issue and didn't taint my overall impression. Overall, it was an excellent experience; I plan to return, bringing more people next time!
