Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

    As always the Ore House delivers exceptional meals including an array of locally sourced entrees, delicious breads, and a fresh salad bar complete with chilled salad plates. The steak was absolute perfection! Whomever does the hiring deserves kudos as we’ve always had wonderfully attentive servers as well. Today was no exception, thanks to Adam. Highly recommend.

    Wonderful old school experience every time. Salad bar is amazing and part of the meal. Prime Rib, Bison Ribeye’s were perfect. Wonderful team making it great. Try the broccoli….. With the loaded spud :)

    We really love this place. Especially the fresh salad bar and the wasabi ranch. This past Friday we waited for over an hour for our entrees though, which was disappointing. We didnt see our waitress for 20min at a time. But steal and salad bar were great

    Did not have a good experience here. We had a group with two families including six kids. We ordered right away and it took over an hour to get our food. We escalated to a manager but he never stopped by to check on us. Still got charged the full service charge. Won’t be coming back here again.

    Elk loin was excellent but unbelievably expensive for the overall value. Everything else was basic and very overpriced. Server was great.

    Loved the ambiance and service. The salad bar was a favorite amongst our family. All of the sides were delicious. Our steaks were average, but for the price, we’d hoped for a little more flavor. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and experience.

    We were seated upstairs, which is old looking like an add-on area for seating.  2 of 4 steaks were overcooked. Bread service and salad bar were best parts of the meal.

    Overall, our annual family dinner was awesome. First time though that steak was medium vs medium rare but was fine and didn’t return (which I’ve done only a few times in my life). Wait staff was great and added some great laughs to the evening.
