   Good food, staff weren’t very attentive and also kept forgetting things from order. Nice venue too. Our business partners enjoyed the evening.

   So half the food was ok and we were happy to pay full price however the majority was absolutely awful, steaks not cooked, meals come out cold, and the yorkshire puddings were like paper you cut into them and they disintegrated! I will be taking this up directly with Opera Grill because the prices they charge the food should be exceptional!!

   Great night,Food and Service but we waited 45 mins to be seated and some people waited longer that us. Bit to packed, maybe create a dance floor instead of so many tables x

   Steaks were well cooked but most of the food was lukewarm at best. Wines mediocre and expensive. Noisy and crowded, especially downstairs where the bar is. Service OK but took over an hour to serve the main. Much better places in Chester in my opinion and definitely overpriced.

   Had a weekend away in Chester first time was recommended opera grill for my husbands birthday and was fantastic food, brilliant atmosphere would 100,% recommend the fillet steak was cook to protection. Thank you again for a lovely meal

   The Gospel Choir were incredible but food and drink is VERY expensive. Not sure I’ll be back in a hurry as you can get nicer food and drink for half the price elsewhere.

   We were looking forward to eating here, we initially went into the resteraunt to ask if they had a table, we were rudely told no without the staff member checking, we then went on their website and were able to book a table via opentable. We then returned at our booked time, we were placed in the corner next the a cold gap in the wall. It took over 10 minutes for someone to introduce themselves and ask if we wanted a drink. Our starters were okay, however mains were shockingly poor. The tuna steak was nothing more than tinned tuna, the chips were not ‘triple cooked’ as described but oven chips and my steak was charcoaled which was not edible. We tried to get the waiters attention for over 15 minutes to report my concerns with the food however were ignored, when they attended they offered to replace my steak with a fresh one however at this point the remainder of my food was cold and my friends had finished theirs. We were initially planning to have dessert however decided against this following the poor food quality. We asked for the bill which was brought promptly however after 15 minutes of waiting to pay the waiter had not returned. We then needed to attend the bar and ask to pay, where again we raised concerns about the poor service. We were rudely told ‘it’s because it’s Christmas’. I appreciate this is a busy time of year however if this is the case more staff is needed or don’t allow so many tables to be booked. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and felt this was not managed well by the waiters. I would not recommend.
