Das Hafenlokal Im Oosten, transparent aus Glas, Stahl, Sichtbeton und Holz gebaut, sitzen Sie immer auf der Sonnenseite. Im Restaurant, an der Bar und in der Lounge, im Biergarten unter Platanen oder auf den Terrassen sind spektakuläre 270-Grad-Perspektiven auf die Frankfurter Skyline und die städtische Flusslandschaft, die gläserne Fassade der EZB, die Deutschherrn- und Honsellbrücke inklusive. Auf einem der beiden sanierten Verladekräne baut die überdachte Terrasse im ersten Obergeschoss auf. Gleichzeitig bildet der Kran die Basis für die großzügige Terrasse im zweiten Obergeschoss.

Das Essen ist ok. Die Preise sind etwas hoch dafür, sind aber durch die Location direct am ECB und Main-Ufer zu erklären. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich. Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Die Speisen wurden ansprechend serviert. Mir hat die Einfallreichtum des Kochs gut gefallen. Sie hatten eine gute Mischung aus modern zubereiteten Klassiker mit kreativen Gerichten, wie Rinderroulade mit Kartoffelklos und Rotkohl und Kürbisgnocci im Salbeibutter. Die Rotkohl ist übrigens schön zart, aber sehr neutral vom Geschmack. Ohne der Rinderroulade würde sie nach nichts schmecken. Der Kaiserschmarrn duftete herrlich nach Butter, war aber lieblos in Form geschnitten. Irgendwie war es weit von dem österreichischen Original. Wir kommen gerne wieder, aber nicht wegen der Küche, die in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes ist, sondern wegen der Lage und Ambiente.

Sehr leckeres Essen - in meinem Fall Gänsekeule, passend zum Nikolaus. Das Ambiente zum Abend und direkt am Main - einfach WOW.

The restaurant (indoor seating) was very warm/unpleasantly overheated without any airflow. The music and guests are very loud, you need to yell to hear one another. The waitress did not attend to our table in a timely manner, we had to request her to come to take our order, to follow up on our appetizer for it to arrive and she never checked on us until after the meal was finished. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and in a rush with everything. We asked for bread & olive oil to start before the entree but the waitress brought out bread, butter and olives instead and then proceeded to charge us 10 euros on the bill for it. She walked away so fast we could not even tell her that we did not order olives. There were maybe 5 small pieces of bread cut from a baguette that was not warm. If we knew, we would have rather ordered a proper appetizer from the menu. Overall, the place is very much overrated and not reflective of the price point.

Tolles Ambiente, freundliche und sehr hilfsbereiter Service. Faire Preise zum Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Leider merkt man den Geruch aus der Spülmaschine im Gastraum wahr. Aber das tut dem Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch. Daher immer wieder gerne. Greetz

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder da gewesen - positive Überraschung!! Service sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, Essen durchweg echt gut ( gehoben solide) und nicht so überlaufen , wie es früher oft war . Hat Spaß gemacht .
