   The food and service were excellent. The four stars instead of five was due to the very below drink quality. An $18 Manhattan was room temperature and tasted as if it had been mixed hours ago. The $16 5 ounces of Chardonnay was not properly chilled. I do not understand why a restaurant with this quality of food can have such a disappointing bar service!

   This was our first time to the restaurant and it was disappointing. To begin with, we sat at a table next to a window and it was very cold and discomfiting. We asked several times if the heat could be raised to make it more comfortable to no avail. There were four people in our party and the noise level was so high that it was difficult to hear the person sitting across from you. It was also very crowded as the tables were very close together. The food was so-so. My wife and I thought out meals were good while our friends did not. The Caesar Salad had potential, but it was overwhelmed with too much salad dressing. As for the wait, our waitress hardly paid any attention to us. Fortunately, there was an Asian woman (I dis not catch her name, but she was dressed in all black) who effectively took our orders and served us. Overall, it is at best less than 50-50 that we will return.

   I screwed up my booking for four and booked for two but despite a very crowded and busy Friday night they immediately found us a table for four. The staff was universally attentive and friendly. They even brought us desserts as a thank you. Great overall experience not normally expected from a large bustling place.

   Had a wonder night out. The restaurant has festive decorations and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and they have a good selection of cocktails and wine. The service was outstanding, someone was always stopping by the table to ask if we need anything. Water was constantly refilled. Added to our new favorite DC restaurant

   We ordered the Chicken Milanese, but it was extremely salty, and the chicken was dry and hard to cut. It felt like a piece of flat stone. The Bee Breeze cocktail was also very sweet, it tasted like drinking a cup of water full of sugar without any citrus flavor. You couldn't even taste the limoncello in it.
