Built in 1886 this historic Richfield landmark will boast three levels of live entertainment, intimate dining, an indoor/ outdoor event spaces, and a menu featuring traditional Ukrainian dishes with sophisticated but relatable modern American cuisine. Crafty cocktails, extensive wine list, over 45 different bottles of bourbons, 20 plus varieties of tequila, beers from all over the planet.
Steak, short rib, osso-bucco, salmon, sea bass, stuffed cabbage, schnitzel, beef stroganoff, pierogis, stuffed cabbage and so much more to choose from.
The interior, designed by James and Darlene Justice of Architectural Justice in Medina, is a deep dive into baroque modern. Rooms are adorned with glowing lights and chandeliers, very detailed frames and ceiling , glass doors and mirrors.
Beautiful Ballroom on a second level for all your special occasions, Speakeasy underground, spacious patio, VIP Room with original mural from 1917. There is so much to experience in one building!

    I have been to Olesia’s many times. Tonight was extremely poor. They did not honor my Open Table reservation. I requested main dining room. Told me I would have to wait an extra 40 minutes to get a table in the main DR. They put us in the basement tavern. Inattentive service. Then the loud music started. Awful singer. The food was good, but the experience was terrible.

    I took my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday and her retirement. I booked the reservation weeks in advance, and I asked for the main dining room. When we got there, we were taken downstairs to what I consider the pub area. They gave some nonsensical reason why we couldn’t be seated in the main dining room. The downstairs area was extremely loud and the service was below average. The food was good, but considering the atmosphere, the noise level and the service I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking to enjoy a quiet dinner.

    Olesia's was a great experience for our group of 8. Service, appetizers, meals, and desserts were all excellent! Our meal selections varied from traditional Ukrainian to American/Ukrainian, so many nice choices on the menu it was hard to decide. The Ukrainian beer choices really added to the fun. We will be back, maybe in warmer weather when we can take a stroll through Richfield before or after dinner. Nice job Olesia's!

    They overbook for the restaurant and we ended up in the speakeasy where it’s a lot louder. We now know this and if an earlier time isn’t open in the future we will go somewhere else as that’s why we reserved for the restaurant.

    The food is aways good. So good I even took home a quart of paprikash to go. The friend I was with explained that there are special acoustic panels around the restaurant to help keep the noise down. There are many good restaurants but so many of them are so noisy you can't hear what the person across the table is saying. I really appreciate that feature.
