In the quaint & historic town of Vinings, Old Vinings Inn is steeped in fond memories and heritage. Our house has served many functions in its past - a post office, a general store, a filling station - and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life& milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!

We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients by our Executive Chef. Visit our Attic Bar for live music Thursday through Saturday nights!

    LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE ATTIC BAR - ATLANTA’S MOST VENERABLE LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT VENUE The Attic Bar features unique live entertainment featuring local music, performers, and more! The bar opens at 5 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and our full dinner menu is available there during those hours. Seating is limited, so reservations are suggested and walk-ins are accommodated when available. Tickets are $5 per person and a credit card is required to reserve them. Credit cards are charged for reservations post event or upon cancellation the day of the event (walk-ins are charged upon admission based on availability).

    First time at brunch. Service excellent, drinks good, very noisy with some parties close to Us and food just so so. We’ll definitely go back but stick with dinner.

    The food was excellent and our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The building definitely has some old southern charm and is larger inside than it appears. It’s a bit on the pricy side but we thoroughly enjoyed our new years dinner. We can definitely recommend a visit.

    The Old Vinings Inn does a great job with classics and also has really good new dishes too. The potato celery root soup was incredible.

    We went to Old Vinings Inn for Christmas Eve dinner. Our table was ready on time. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered a variety of main courses - prime rib, short ribs, crab cakes, and my personal favorite, the fried chicken, which was absolutely the best, using the chef's special recipe. Old Vinings Inn continues to be one of our go-to places.
