Classic Gotham Steakhouse located in the ultra chic Meat Packing District, established in 1868. The restaurant maintains it's strong relationships with their butchers, allowing them to get their first pick of beef. Nothing but prime dry aged meat - always has been and always will be. Winner of the 2006 Wine Spectator Award. Lobsters ranging in sizes from 4 - 13 lbs., sushi grade tuna, sockeye salmon, Colossal crab meat and shrimp so big they are referred to as small bananas.

    Hi Wenrt there 12/292024 had reservations 2 other people in place waited an hour or so for dinner I had prime rib lousy cut of meat (better @ Texas roadhouse friend had bacon rapped filet over cooked lamb chops ok skirt steak small but ok rib eye was ok and cooked right sides were small food was not hot no manager to be seen tomanysteak houses in NYC pass on this place not worth the $$$$ Dave

    Dinner was outstanding! The food and service was incredible. George was our server and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Highly recommend the restaurant and George.

    It was ok… not worth a $500 tab. The server didn’t explain anything.. he just came up and wanted to take our order.. I would probably not go back… my lobster tail was so over cooked it was hard and chewy. The steak was ok nothing exceptional.

    Food was absolutely amazing. It did take quite long to get our food. A couple came in after us and was given there food before us so that was pretty frustrating. The lack of attention was shocking seeing as how nice the restaurant was! Other than that it was amazing.

    We experienced racial discrimination and were forced to tip. After seeing the tip we left, they stopped us and insisted we pay more. They ignored us completely, walked away, and brought another Asian staff member to deal with us. This is blatant racism. Feeling upset, we started to confront them, but suddenly, someone else appeared, refused to look at us, dismissed us with a rude “no problem” in a condescending tone, slammed the tip book shut, and walked away abruptly.

    Carne ottima: abbiamo preso 2 filetti mignon avvolti nel bacon e un filetto mignon classico. Molto caro un bicchiere di vino che abbiamo pagato 24$. Comunque un ottimo ristorante
