   I LOVE Okan. A hidden gem, and really like stepping in to a back street in Tokyo, rather than amongst modern buildings in Waterloo. The food is great - and very authentic - and the team there are great. Special shout out to Aoi and Taka. Will definitely be back!

   Delicious hot plum wine , pork dumplings, followed by beef, with soba noodles & veg with fried egg, a good filling on a freezing night You definitely need to book as it is tiny & rammed. Kind courteous staff

   This is positioned as Japanese street food, so a small crowded space is in keeping with what one should expect. I've been four times now, and I've enjoyed every dish. Last night we sat directly across from the chef, so we saw the food being prepared. It's done with care and precision. I really enjoy this place. The service was efficient, so we had no trouble making it to the IMAX in time for a film after dinner.

   Delicious and authentic okonomiyaki in the heart of London. So lucky to have found this place! Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cosy. Highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

   Although a small restaurant seating about 20 max on compact tables, the food is very good. There are several dishes that can be customised for you, and at the counter, you get to see the chef preparing it. A good selection of alc and non-alc drinks. We had special okonomiyaki and donburi dishes, with green tea and hot sake - it was cold outside.

   Very authentic Japanese izikaya style restaurant, great food and vibe. Service was a bit slow, but I forgive them due to the great food :)

   What an amazing hidden secret tucked inside County Hall at the South Bank. The interior and food transport you to a typical casual eating place in Osaka. Fabulous Okonomiyaki, amazing value for money and no pressure to vacate your table when chatting with friends. It is a year and a half since I last visited Tokyo and this transported me there without boarding a flight.

   Great Japanese izakaya with a simple menu- donburi, noodle dishes and okonomiyake. Great to have found a reasonably priced casual restaurant in the neighborhood.. a little taste of Osaka in a corner of Waterloo. Will be returning!

    Very cozy and authentic-feeling place, but the food was a bit disappointing: Europeanised version of Japanese food, overly salty and overly covered in sauces
