   We’ve had a lot of sushi in San Francisco and this spot is the new leader in the clubhouse. Excellent!

   We made reservations off OpenTable to come celebrate a special occasion. Upon checking in, the staff already had a table ready with a congratulation card set up which was super sweet of them. My partner and I both ordered the Omakase experience which includes appetizers, 10 piece nigiri, and chawanmushi. We also ordered the wagyu spoon to try. The staff brought us complementary plum wine to celebrate. Food: For the nigiri, we were given a handful of fish recommended by the chef that included: hamachi, bluefin tuna, red snapper, artic char, halibut, Spanish mackerel, and snow crab. My favorite was the sake toro and fatty tuna with uni. The flavor combination was so delicious, with every bite melting into your mouth. The fish quality was fresh and you could tell they put effort into designing the concept of each piece. The chawanmushi was a nice touch at the end. It provided a warm dish to conclude the meal. It was topped with truffle oil that added an elevated flavor. Service: The staff were very attentive, always being mindful of clearing our plates and refilling our water if it got halfway down. They're super nice and knowledgeable if you need recommendations. Interior: It's a cute shop in the mission that has a table in the back for a larger party. Most of the seating was either smaller tables or the bar. Overall, given the value and price point for dinner and drinks, I would say Okaeri is my new favorite recommendation. It's elevated compared to other omakase options; however, not too expensive to break the bank. I will definitely be back!

   This was the best sushi we have ever had…all five of us!! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning, especially since all other sushi places are ruined after coming here. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

   I enjoyed Okaeri very much. It is a nice neighborhood restaurant with an excellent vibe and great service. Their specialty rolls are quite good and very creative. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the chefs work their magic--they all seemed to enjoy and take pride in what they were doing and creating. I will definitely visit there again.

   This was a birthday dinner. We made a reservation at a time offered. We showed up on time, but our bar seats weren’t ready so we got moved to a table. Once we sat we were rushed the entire time. Rushed to order, rushed to eat, and leave. The staff took things off the table, like the soy sauce, before we were finished using/eating. It could have been a much nicer experience had they not rushed the service. Pretty disappointing experience overall. Unfortunately it was not a birthday celebration worthy meal.

   We had a quality dinning experience here. Food and service were excellent. Restaurant was also clean and modern. Would definitely recommend.

    Amazing experience as always. This is the second time that we celebrated my sister’s birthday and the staff always makes it so memorable. We love coming here. If you want high quality with great a great experience and service, this is your place.
