OK Omens is a wine focused restaurant with an emphasis on both natural wines and integrity driven classics. Opened by 5x James Beard Nominated Chef Justin Woodward and 'Food & Wine Magazine' Sommelier of the Year Brent Braun, we offer a seasonal eclectic dinner menu designed to compliment our playful, progressive wine program.

Multiple dates available
Secure your seats for our famous 1$ Oyster happy hour, Tue-Sat from 5 to 6 pm. We’re talking 1$ oysters, price cuts on snacks, $9 glasses of wine, Happy Hour Cocktails and 25% the *entire* Riesling bottle list (Portland’s deepest.) The dining room and Patio can fill up fast, and reservations are strongly encouraged! Our full dinner menu is available during happy hour.
Machete Winter Residency at OK Omens

This winter, every Sunday & Monday, Machete will be taking over the kitchen at Ok Omens! They'll be serving their authentic México City street food while Ok Omens will make sure the wine and cocktails are flowing. The menu is a la carte and reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Multiple dates available
Wednesday are for Fried Chicken! We offer it as both an appetizer and as part of our beloved Fried Chicken Torito Salad. Our chicken is boneless, gluten free and dusted with green Szechuan peppercorn. Only available on Wednesdays!

Went for Machette’s winter residential stay at OK Omens. Food was delicious. Wine was wonderful. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Enjoyable place for a date night or out with friends.

Our group of work colleagues met here for dinner during October when the kitchen was handed over to Machetes for their Mexican street food and it was absolutely delicious! Excellent appetizers - especially the octopus tostada - and wonderful individual machetes, plus the drinks were delightful and we ended the meal with all 4 decadent desserts. A fantastic dining experience -only drawback was the music was a little loud at times.
