   Used to be good. Something has changed. Food was cold, not that good. The whole thing is below average now, sadly.

   Great service and atmosphere. Breakfast menu has items not typical, such as, a nice take on avocado toast, gruyere cheese in their eggs, baked eggs with grilled toast, and Shakshuka. The Shakshouka was very good but could use more of the mediterranean spices. The feta in it was delicious. The potatoes were great, crunchy on the outside and smooth on the inside.

   Host was very friendly, our table was ready when the first of our large party arrived and we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and informed. The drinks were creative and delicious. The food came quickly and was very satisfying, solid portions as well. I will definitely be back.

   Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very cute and clean. I got the croque madam which was very filling and had a good flavor. My friend got the French toast which was a very generous portion size and fairly tasty. We had the chamomile lavender lattes which were good too. Overall I would recommend it if you’re wanting a casual brunch place in the Capitol Hill area.

    I made a reservation and we were a few minutes early, but we were seated right away. We were given menus and water as we sat down. We first ordered a drink. I ordered the espresso martini and my husband ordered the 12 ounce cappuccino. I was looking over the menu and didn’t know what to order so I ordered the mushroom hash and my husband ordered the chorizo hash. My husband liked his, but I did not like mine at all. There was way too much red chili pepper in it and it was much too spicy and I should have sent it back. Also there was no flavor, just spice. I was sick the rest of the day it was so spicy. The staff was nice, the drinks were good, but the food was just too spicy. I will give this place another try sometime, but probably not in the next year or two. I don’t get to Seattle very often.
