   The food was excellent let me start with that. I believe the owner was the one who took our order. He also sat us, took our order and served it to us. As much as I admire that he does everything. The place was busy and he needed help. Have a host/ hostess seat us. He didn’t write down our order, which is totally fine if you don’t mess it up. He for got two of our dishes and forgot one entree because he doubled one of the other entrees ordered.

   Great food! Probably could have used another server or 2 as it got very busy and servers seemed overwhelmed. Would recommend!

   Very much enjoyed our meal as it was our first visit we weren’t sure what to expect. However, the reviews were glowing, and it did not disappoint. My only recommendation will be to have some candles on the table.

   Food might be good but you will leave with a bad taste. I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. We ordered an appetizer sampler and 4 entrees. Was enjoying our meal. They cleared the table then someone other than the server dropped the check. We stated we were never asked and we’d like to order dessert. “Ok what do you want?” Well either tell us what you have or show a menu. Brings us a menu. Ok we’ll have baklava and a Turkish coffee. Two bites into the dessert the waitress hurries over “you need to go we have a large party coming. “ excuse me? I was shocked. We weren’t lingering. We just started dessert. Your lack of preparation and overbooking is not my problem. I call over a woman that seemed part of the ownership explain the situation. She says don’t worry about it. Meanwhile the rest of the people at the host station are obviously gawking at us making us feel uncomfortable. One comes over while I am explaining the situation and inserts that we didn’t have a reservation (we did). I don’t know how that’s relevant. She takes my card. I tell her you ruined dessert and we can’t enjoy it. I’m not paying for the coffee and dessert. They gave me cash back for the coffee. Then in the front like 5 of the ownership family basically surround me to tell me how I am wrong we were there for 1.5 hours. Again we didn’t linger we ordered a 3 course meal. Their service dictated the speed of our meal. And 1.5 hours is not long for a nearly $200 bill 3 course meal. Also I didn’t know there was a time limit. The waitress accused me of lying about her kicking me out and said we can watch the video. I’d love that. Please email me it. Anyway they completely botched this. The fiasco ended up taking an additional 10 minutes and made a scene in the dining and waiting rooms and they gave me $30 to cover the dessert and coffee. It was our first time there. Was excited to return. We won’t.

   This restaurant is a hidden gem. Staff is very accommodating. Food is excellent. Will be back.

   What a great meal and experience! We can’t wait to go back and try more menu items. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make choices based on our tastes. I ordered the eggplant vegetarian entree and loved it. It was a busy Saturday so the staff was spread a tad thin but overall it was great!

   Food is fantastic, unfortunately it was freezing in the area of the restaurant we were seated and service was kind but inattentive. We were asked to be moved or the doors to the porch closed - neither of which was able to be accommodated. They increased the thermostat but it didn’t change where we were seated. Also, it was annotated we had a birthday (mine) on my reservation and it was never acknowledged. Will be back again, their food is fantastic but not during cold months.

   First time - food was exceptional. Service was fine, just could have used a little more attention and guidance when ordering given it was our initial visit.

    One of the top five restaurants I’ve eaten at in South Jersey — great service, authentic food elegantly presented, and every item we ordered absolutely delicious.
