While the food quality was very good our overall experience at the restaurant was less so. Upon ordering, out food came out rapid fire, we figured that dinner would be over with in just half an hour. Everything felt rushed. We decided to order a couple of additional items as we were still hungry and observed the wait staff setting what turned out to be our orders on another table. After some time the table realized that these were not items they ordered and the waiter picked them up and put them on our table fully expecting us to accept them. This is inexcusable from a service and a hygienic perspective. We refused the dishes and they were taken away. No apology offered from the server or the host who came over to ask us how the dinner was, just the bill. We left the restaurant with a sour taste in our mouth.

We sat at the bar and had great service! Our bartender, Duane was wonderful. Made sure we had everything we needed for our dinner. We started out with the edamame which was delicious. Then had the fried rice cakes with the spicy tuna which is to die for! Followed by the tempura vegetables and the sashimi trio. The tempura was thinly sliced and was very tasty. The sashimi was so fresh, it melted in your mouth like butter. If you haven’t tried Oao, you really need to. Best sushi around!!

Really good sushi! We’ve been looking for a good place since Sansei left. We loved it. Regular rolls and specialty rolls were all delicious and fresh! We’ll be back!!!

T the greeter was great❗️Gave a lot of good information and menu suggestions which were all wonderful. Our waiter, Ronny was fantastic‼️His attention to our needs, knowledge of imenu items, aloha spirit, etc…was outstanding. The Duck was so delicious, the Rainbow Roll fresh and melt in your mouth, Tempera Shrimp Outstanding, Brussels Sprouts crispy and tasty, etc…I was a fabulous meal. Mahalo Nui Loa for a great dining experience ‼️ Suszi & Becky

LOVE the food. LOVE the staff… so much so that we are cancelling our plans for the following night and will be coming back here. Met some friends for life and had a fantastic dinner + drinks.
