   Reopening after an expansion Reno - place looks GREAT! The food is always creative and delicious - the chef is always willing to accommodate special requests too. Oh, and they have a great wine and liquor selection 💯 Highly recommend!

   Terrific example of local fine dinning! Their commitment to One of A Kind dinning was demonstrated throughout the meal. The sea bass was life changing!

   A well rounded menu with interesting choices. We both chose the seared foie gras, followed by the Elk chops. The foie gras portion was inconsistent between my my husband portion and mine , was over cooked and the dish didn’t have much flavor. It wasn’t enough to it send back , but would not order again. The Elk Chops were cooked beautifully, nice portion size, and was very enjoyable. We rarely have dessert but decided to try their Crème Brûlée. It did not carry much of a vanilla taste, no vanilla bean seeds visible, ( a sign that it would have a rich vanilla taste), it was good but would not order again. The wine selection was nice, the staff was attentive and pleasant. I observed other patrons that had ordered cocktails….they looked interesting also generous in size. The spacing between the tables was adequate, seating was comfortable, and the room was quiet. I would go back, but would make other choices.

   Phenomal food & service, like always. The steak is the best in Myrtle Beach, it is our absolute favorite place to have a nice dinner and the drinks were amazing as well. Service is always outstanding as well.

   Excellent food. Service was spectacular. We enjoyed the new renovation seating and appreciated the beautiful card to recognize my husband’s retirement.

   My husband and myself enjoyed an amazing meal experience this evening. Each course was exceptionally pleasing, and made even more fantastic with superior service from Lyndell as well as all of the support staff that we interacted with. Compliments to the Chef and staff.

   This was not my first time dining at O.A.K. Prime. The first time was outstanding. Tonight felt a little short. The mushroom bruschetta appetizer was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Seabass special for my entrée. It was very salty and overcooked and very dry. The shrimp that were served on top of the Seabass were very good. The risotto was also very salty. My boyfriend ordered the scallop special. Those too were extremely salty and very fishy. Dessert was wonderful. We ordered the maple bacon cheesecake, and it was extremely good! Overall a mediocre meal. For nearly $200, we expected a little bit better experience. Maybe it was just an off night.

   Fantastic waitress with an unbelievable meal! OAK Prime is worth the expense as it is consistently one of the best restaurants in the area with 2 of the best servers! The waitress was on point, never missed a beat with refills and excellent timing during a business meal!

    This was our first time visiting O.A.K Prime Kitchen and Bar. We were initially going to be seated at a very small table against a wall near the bathrooms and we asked for a better spot. Without hesitation the hostess found us a much better table. Our server, Kyle, was delightful and knowledgeable. I went in for steak and he talked me into the special, which was a Chilean Sea Bass, over creamy risotto, topped with two large grilled shrimp. No need for sides as the risotto and asparagus were plenty. My husband opted for a filet mignon and a side of gouda potato au gratin. Everything was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and finished with a creme brulee dessert. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the volume was fine. It was fun sitting in an open area near the bar, but not at the bar. It appears they are doing construction and will be expanding the dining area. My only suggestion would be to get rid of that one small table for two. With as much food and drinks that we ordered, we would have ran out of room to put our stuff on the smaller table. Great experience.

You are correct about our current construction. We are adding an entire separate dining area and in the next few weeks we will be expanding our kitchen which will completely move our restrooms to the new dining space and those two small tables will be no more!
