   This was not my first time dining at O.A.K. Prime. The first time was outstanding. Tonight felt a little short. The mushroom bruschetta appetizer was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Seabass special for my entrée. It was very salty and overcooked and very dry. The shrimp that were served on top of the Seabass were very good. The risotto was also very salty. My boyfriend ordered the scallop special. Those too were extremely salty and very fishy. Dessert was wonderful. We ordered the maple bacon cheesecake, and it was extremely good! Overall a mediocre meal. For nearly $200, we expected a little bit better experience. Maybe it was just an off night.

   Fantastic waitress with an unbelievable meal! OAK Prime is worth the expense as it is consistently one of the best restaurants in the area with 2 of the best servers! The waitress was on point, never missed a beat with refills and excellent timing during a business meal!

   This was our first time visiting O.A.K Prime Kitchen and Bar. We were initially going to be seated at a very small table against a wall near the bathrooms and we asked for a better spot. Without hesitation the hostess found us a much better table. Our server, Kyle, was delightful and knowledgeable. I went in for steak and he talked me into the special, which was a Chilean Sea Bass, over creamy risotto, topped with two large grilled shrimp. No need for sides as the risotto and asparagus were plenty. My husband opted for a filet mignon and a side of gouda potato au gratin. Everything was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and finished with a creme brulee dessert. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the volume was fine. It was fun sitting in an open area near the bar, but not at the bar. It appears they are doing construction and will be expanding the dining area. My only suggestion would be to get rid of that one small table for two. With as much food and drinks that we ordered, we would have ran out of room to put our stuff on the smaller table. Great experience.

You are correct about our current construction. We are adding an entire separate dining area and in the next few weeks we will be expanding our kitchen which will completely move our restrooms to the new dining space and those two small tables will be no more!    Oak Prime is by far our favorite restaurant! We always leave happy and full. Chef JK is a talented chef and anytime we try something new we are always impressed. Service is always the best. John is usually our server but I think we’ve been waited on by all the servers there and they are all great. If you want the best food in fine dining anywhere around here O.A.K. Prime is where it’s at.

   Always an awesome meal - chef has fresh specials regularly which keeps it interesting to return to again and again! Truly a gem of a restaurant. Great service as always from Cheryl!

   Both of us had steaks, I had a yummy tomato bisque, we had a salad, garlic mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, drinks, and best of all…apple caramel bread pudding.

   The food was good in general - however the truffle fries were made from fries. There was no bread to the the table - we bought the biscuits and they were very good.

    Another great dining experience! We had the Waygu Hanger steak, OAK Biscuits, pork belly and lobster Mac and cheese. Finished with Granny Smith apple pie bread pudding. Everything was delicious and service by Bri was amazing! Was able to cut the hanger steak with a fork, so tender! The owners and staff here make everyone feel like like family and always bring their A game…..Highly recommend!
