The Cave Café offers indoor and outdoor dining. Enjoy the enchanting ambiance of dining inside the cave or outdoor dining overlooking the majestic views of the De Portola Wine Trail. Our friendly, approachable, and extremely informed staff will make your dining and wine tasting experience unforgettable.

Our Cave Café welcomes diners Sunday - Thursday, between 11am to 6pm and Friday - Saturday, between 11am to 8pm. Reservations are not required but highly recommend during the weekends. We can comfortably accommodate parties with up to 8 guests in the restaurant. For larger parties, please feel free to contact us at 951-699-9102.

We love this restaurant, the quaint atmosphere is wonderful, each table is so private and the service is impeccable. The food is different and amazing. Quinton our waiter was engaging, on point with recommendations and very attentive. Highly recommend this winery. Make sure to have reservations.

I always love Oak Mountain. The staff are friendly and recognize me as a regular. I like the attentive, but unobtrusive service provided by the staff here. They have a wide range of wines to satisfy all palates and the food is always good. You cannot go wrong with any choice. The views are very nice. It is also a good place to bring friends or clients.

Horrible experience at the cave. We made reservations for 6:15 and by 6:37 we were still in line to get checked in. Once we got to check in they told us it was about a 40 min wait time. This was our anniversary dinner. We got dressed up. We were not about to eat outside on the porch. Their check in system is horrible. Waste of time. We ended up going somewhere else. One star for everything since we didn’t get to experience anything. I know I said it was our anniversary and one can say we can always spend it another time and all but my husband travels for work and he leaves before our actual Anniversary. I hope you can understand the frustration of what going out to celebrate meant for us.

This is such a unique restaurant. You are actually dining in a cave which is their wine cellar. The barrels are set up to act as dividers so each table feels very private and secluded. This is a great place for a romantic dinner. The food was very good as was the wine. The waitress we had was wonderful, attentive but did not hover. The only complaint was there was no host to great us. We walked by the host station to see if there was another closer to the restaurant itself and were promptly turned back. That in itself was not a problem, but, it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there.

We recently dined at The Cave, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious — each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The setting is unique and romantic, with a cave-like ambiance that adds to the charm. The only downside was that it was a little chilly inside, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Our server, Matt, was fantastic. He was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering great suggestions. The service really elevated the evening. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a special night out!
