    Incredible food start to finish - we did the 4 item tasting menu and were blown away by the innovative and high quality dishes - only “miss” was the ribeye which was an up charge - otherwise amazing from cocktails to dessert - highly recommend!!

    Although they offere a 4 course menu, you dont need to eat that much. They are very accomodating to allow sharing of pasta dishes and appetizers. For dessert, they made sure each of us got a donut. Very comfortable restaurant.

    Exceptional on every level. The attention to detail in every aspect of the establishment is a level of pride, commitment and enjoyment to be emulated, or at a minimum experienced.

    This used to be the best resturant in Detroit. Waiter had an attitude the entire night, was short to us and his interactions really brought down the evening. The food was warm , not hot and mediocre at best. There are so many better places in Detroit for a fraction of the price. Our bill was $900 for 5 of us and only 3 had the 4 course meal. I would not recommend this, it’s not the resturant it used to be…

    Oak and Reel is our favorite restaurant in Detroit. Coming from New York, we are big foodies and have a high bar whether a hole in the wall or Michelin star place. The food is fantastic, the ambience beautiful and welcoming, the staff is awesome….and it’s always fun. We leave feeling better than when we walked in the door. We have been going since it opened and it only gets better every time.

    We always have such an amazing dining experience at Oak and Reel, from the wine to the food, and to the beautiful people who have wait on us! These are the reasons we will continue to go back!
