   The renovations are nice, but the service was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to get our bill after we told the waiter we were done. Spider crab in the roll was burnt and badly tainted the flavor. We’ve been to O-Ku many times and have never left disappointed. Restaurants can have bad night and I’d like to think this was just a speed bump. Will be back, but don’t want another $85 per person dinner like tonight.

   Manager, waiter, sushi chef and bus boy all went out of their way to welcome us and make the experience. Manager knew all of the fish and made a couple of fantastic recommends.

   This restaurant’s style and decor is stuck in 2015. The cocktail selection is minimal and unoriginal. However, the sushi and food were good. Our server was great, but the service is disorganized and seemingly overwhelmed. We were glad to try the restaurant and very pleased with our meal, but based on the lack of cocktail options and boring atmosphere, we won’t return.

   Our server was sooo sweet and kind. She made sure my birthday celebration with my boys was so special and that we had the best experience in regards to the food. Our server really was amazing The food was so fresh and amazing that it has become one of my son’s new favorite sushi spot.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at O-Ku, and I can't stop thinking about the experience. The newly refreshed space is absolutely beautiful. The décor is modern yet cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the lighting to the seating, making it a delightful place to dine. Our server, Alysha (I hope I’ve spelled her name right!), truly made the experience unforgettable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind throughout our meal. It's rare to come across someone so genuinely passionate about providing great service, and Alysha definitely went above and beyond. She made sure we were well taken care of without being overbearing, and her warm attitude made the evening even more special. We will definitely be back!!

   my reservation was at 7:30. Didn't get our food til after 9pm. My partner's food came out 15 minutes after mine and was cold. They ended up charging us for edamame that we thought they were offering to us on the house because they kept apologizing for the experience and asking if we wanted any.

   We booked a 5:30 PM reservation for Valentine’s Day and opted for the $125 per person tasting menu. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. It took 2.5 hours for the restaurant to serve all four courses, and by the time the main course was supposed to arrive, we were informed they had run out—despite the fact that we had arrived only 30 minutes after opening. To make matters worse, the main course was supposed to be prime rib, but instead of asking us for an alternative, the waiter simply brought out a fish dish without consulting us. My husband didn’t like or eat the fish, so he barely touched his entree. When we raised our concerns, the manager offered to cover one round of drinks, which felt like an inadequate response given the situation. For a $400 bill, we expected far better service and accountability. To top it off, we were still charged for the fish course—something we never ordered or wanted. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience.

   Jackie was fantastic! Couldn’t have asked for a better server. The food was the best as usual. Being a regular the renovations were a bit underwhelming but glad you all are still around and open.
