One of Melbourne's most successful and popular not-for-profit social enterprises, Now and Not Yet, just over the road from the beautiful Yarra River, is a cafe worth visiting. Featured on channel nine postcards, our passionate chef team has worked for some of the industry's leaders, such as Stephanie Alexander. The classic Melbourne cafe menu offers all-day breakfast with the flavour-packed smashed avocado and a great selection of lunch options. The So-Fish-Ticated sandwiches and the Zuccini Fritters were excellent. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. Our only issue was the noise level inside. With so many people talking loudly and very loud background music it was impossible for us to have a quiet chat. We asked for the music to be turned down but it was still too loud. We moved outside when a table became available but had to fight off the wasps. Our table was also beside the fly bait which had a very unpleasant smell - perhaps move it away from the actual tables. We would love to come back because of the tasty food and lovely staff but the noise and wasp issue would be a deterrent.

Amazing food, amazing service and somehow they have managed to get the acoustics perfect - you can have a conversation and not have overspill from the other diners. Loved it!

Always great coffee and the food is amazing. Sadly they fogot the kids meals on this occasion- but didnt charge us for the milkshakes in the end as compensation. Love the location and the staff are friendly. Their commitment to the community is inspiring.

Now and not yet was a good dining experience for lunch. It was good value for money. You got a lot of food for what you paid for and we all enjoyed ourselves.
