"Where good taste never ends, you know it's Noto's!" Because first impressions count, the Noto's family has given special attention to making a strong, solid & respectable statement with the building's exterior & entry. You'll find a grand stone building with multiple entries. Noto's is not only a fine-dining restaurant, but a large banquet facility. The old world atmosphere of the interior speaks of quality & care. Noto's lounge has live music, a gracious but casually elegant dining room with a massive wine list recognized by Wine Spectator Magazine, & spectacular authentic Italian foods! A new banquet entryway features a white marble spiral staircase with a glistening chandelier. The staircase ascends to a ballroom & descends into the newly completed Wine Cellar with thousands of bottles of wine & a new dining area for our Chef's Dinners. Dining spaces in the cellar are semi-private brick arched spaces with individual chandeliers. A must see!

                                                                              Made a reservation for Valentines Day, but upon arrival we were told they were double booked because they don’t use the service any longer. There was a line through the building waiting for a host. We did not get a table.

                                                                              Made reservations for 9:00 on NYE only to find out their kitchen closes as 9:00. Why allow reservations when your kitchen will be closed? Not very considerate for your customers.

                                                                              Noto’s is our favorite restaurant and always provides great selections of Appetizers, entrees and desserts. And of course don’t overlook their vast wine options as well that can meet everyone’s preference. Great food that everyone enjoys for a nice dinner. Excellent job once again!

                                                                              We sat down to our table and the servers must share … we had two and neither person introduced themselves. Just made us feel rushed when clearly we had some older individuals in our party that hadn’t even sat down yet. We ordered the antipasti which was two versions of super dry (sitting out old tasting) Parmesan and a few other things; and very hard cracker like accompaniment. It was not very good but we paid for it so we ate it. We had five people in our party, each ordered something different; and every single item was over cooked and poorly seasoned. The dish with prosciutto, I confirmed would be crisped; the prosciutto was thick sliced (which is not how prosciutto should ever be sliced) and flabby. The chicken on two dishes were dry, even with sauce and the walleye was so overcooked it was inedible. We’ve not eaten at Notos in over ten years because the prices do not match the food, ambiance or prices; but it’s still in business so we gave it another shot … certainly things can change in ten years. We were wrong. We are not big complainers, or wasteful people, and none of us had eaten all day; so we did eat our meals. However, we will never go back.

                                                                              We had a wonderful evening. We enjoyed Emily’s chocolate hazelnut martini at the bar before dinner and then had a wonderful meal! The wine and food was simply amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!

                                                                              Pasta wasn’t cooked on either of our dishes. They charged the full price (of a shellfish dish) for a conversion to a vegetarian dish which is ridiculous and they clearly don’t cater to vegetarians well. I wasn’t served shellfish and didn’t consume it, so I really shouldn’t have to pay the premium for it. We had such high hopes for a decent Italian restaurant in the area. This isn’t it for us.

                                                                              They do not have a hostess working. The hostess stand is not in view of the bar or dining room, so you have to go look for somebody to seat you. Once seated, it took over 10 minutes until somebody came to talk to us. 10 minutes more to get water. When our meal arrived, we ordered a second round of drinks. They never delivered the drinks. Fortunately, the second round of drinks was not on the bill that we had to ask a busboy to get for us because our waitress never came back. Overall a bad experience. We will not be coming back.
