   Never been before, but it was lovely little pub. Went for my birthday with my family. Told them I had a nut and sesame seeds allergy they where brilliant even the chef came out to talk to me and put me at ease not many places do that! Food was delicious! Plenty of it we had roast dinner and had deserts to and choc truffles really lovely 😊 starters was delicious too. Would definitely be going back and recommend it too.

   This was our 2nd visit however it was disappointing. Lovely location and decor the staff are friendly but due to where we were seated it was not an enjoyable experience. We were seated in the far corner next to the door leading to the outside function rooms, regrettably for us this door was being constantly opened to enable staff to attend to these larger parties and on many occasions left to slam shut. The draft and door noise was not acceptable and a couple of times we opened the door ourselves for the staff as they had their hands full. Not really what we had in mind for a nice Sunday lunch out and our sympathies to the staff dealing with the situation, how would they manage on a rainy day ? We would love to visit again but would certainly refuse a seating in the same area. I’m afraid this situation needs to be looked at.

   First visit in a long time. Stunning refurbishment, lovely buzzy Sunday atmosphere, warm welcome and lovely service throughout. Food was impeccable. There are Sunday Roasts and Sunday Roasts, this was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, very generous portions. Impossible to fault.

   We had a delightful time and loved the food the only fault was the roast potatoes. Callum was a super star. Thank you so much and see you in a couple of weeks. Very kind regards Richard

   Have eaten and stayed here a few times. It never disappoints. Food is fabulous, all the staff are attentive but not in your face all the time. Would highly recommend.

   The reception was very friendly. We felt welcome. We had a small dog with us and she was welcome, too. First we had drinks in the pub as we got there too early. The restaurant is modern and comfortably furnished. The distance between tables is pleasant. The service was quick, courteous and attentive. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good, too fatty and not seasoned enough. The fried potatoes and French fries tasted good. Too expensive we think.
