With surprising combinations and intense flavours, NIKKEI Cuisine cultivates a style that combines the Japanese subtlety for traditional and elegant dishes with savoury elements from Peru. Whether it’s tartar from Wagyu steak from the southernmost tip of Japan, or pickled scallops, which are given a whole new taste thanks to Peruvian elements. Food is grilled over an open fire on the Japanese Robata grill in a walk-in show kitchen.

    Hatte das 7 Gänge Signature Menü und war fast komplett begeistert. Tolle Variationen asiatischer und südamerikanischer Küche. Einzig das Wagyu fand ich zu fulminant insgesamt. Weinkarte top, Service sehr gut, Ambiente fancy, vielleicht nicht für tiefere Gespräche aber allemal zur tollen Unterhaltung. Komme gerne wieder.

    Leider hatten wir den Tisch am Besteckwagen, daher war dieser Platz weniger schön und zu viel Unruhe. Das hat den Abend zerstört

    Hervorragendes Essen mit bestem Service und insgesamt erwartungsgemäß Spitze, natürlich hochpreisig, aber das war ja schon vorher klar, Weinempfehlung hat auch gepasst. Eine Lokation für besondere Anlässe wie meinem 80. Geburtstag

    Besonderes Ambiente, exzellenter Service und das Essen ist sehr gut. Uns haben die Cocktails und die Vorspeisen am besten gefallen (Hamachi und Seeteufel waren einfach überragend). Das Sushi überzeugt von der Qualität, ist aber sehr unspektakulär präsentiert. Abzüge gibt es nur beim Preis, der einfach überzogen ist. Aber das ist inzwischen fast überall so. Im Nikkei Nine wird einem dafür immerhin ein außergewöhnlicher Abend beschert.

    NikkeiNine is an upmarket Japanese restaurant attached to the Four Seasons Hotel. It serves top quality Japanese-inspired dishes. The service is attentive but, perhaps due to the holiday season, the restaurant seemed understaffed. The decor is opulent, perhaps a bit over the top. Prices are high bordering on the outrageous, but the clientele is unlikely to mind whether the Wagyu comes at 159€ per 100g (today’s price) or at 200 or whatever. The list of Sake to choose from is reasonable but quite limited.
