Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    Join us for a Thanksgiving gathering at Nido, where we're proud to offer a traditional family-style menu. Our menu includes Honeynut Squash Soup, Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Turkey, Parker House Rolls, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, and Pumpkin Panna Cotta— $89 per person. Please be aware that our regular à la carte menu will not be available on Thanksgiving Day. Price of menu includes food only, is per person and is not inclusive of beverage, tax or gratuity. Payment will be due at the restaurant after the meal has concluded. Please see cancellation policy when booking.

    I have hosted/cooked Thanksgiving dinner for many years. To say I was excited to take the year off is an understatement. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about our time and meal at Nido. We were greeted with kindness and our server Trenton did an excellent job! And the food! Oh my! Everything was so wonderful! I especially loved the soup and turkey! It was just a really wonderful experience.

    It was a gorgeous brunch for Thanksgiving, but I’m really disappointed about the parking situation - it was the Turkey Trot that same day and the streets and hotel parking was closed and it was a struggle trying to find nearby parking 😔 if we could have been given a heads up beforehand, that would have been great…

    Our experience at Nido tonight was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent, and Holden went above and beyond to accommodate our friend’s dietary restrictions with thoughtful suggestions. The ambiance was perfect, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Watching the sunset added a magical touch to the atmosphere, making the night even more memorable. A big thank you to the team for creating such a delightful experience—we can’t wait to return!

    The ambiance is everything. Drinks and food left something to be desired. With the price point I would have expected a higher quality of both food and drinks along with prompt service. Relying on view to make up for value

    Great view. Ordered the fish and chips, chips were great. Fish too dry. Crust too dry. Tartar sauce not great. I am used to the English and fish and chips.

    Came here for our 1 year anniversary. Excellent seating with a beautiful view, excellent service, and the food was off the charts. My wife and I were extremely happy dining here for our 1 year anniversary.

    Visited on a Sunday with the brunch menu. I ordered a cold-pressed juice, a gin drink, a sandwich, a salad, and a dessert--everything was of the highest quality and exactly what someone looking for excellence in simplicity should expect. The view and ambience was a bonus instead of the main, which means this will be a place I plan to visit many times.

    We arrived early for our reservation and noticed most of the patio seating was empty. We were told there was no possibility of sitting on the patio because all seats were reserved but left an hour later with half of them still empty, which was a bit annoying. The tuna tartare was excellent, the Brussels spouts salad was good, the risotto was mediocre at best and the scallops were good (not great). Service was also good (not great). The ambiance at the bar and in the restaurant were great and the view is hard to beat.
