    I made a reservation much in advance and was disappointed to be seated at a hightop table in the bar area. The table was right where people entered and exited the restrooms and in the middle of a thoroughfare for the wait staff so not great. It was also quite chilly in the restaurant and the service was mediocre. I don't think I would choose to return to Nick's.

    Great atmosphere, food and drinks! Fish dishes are a little high priced. Be sure to make a reservation including for lunch. It’s very popular.

    I took my boyfriend to Nick’s for his 40th birthday dinner. The food is delicious!! Service was friendly and timely! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Nick’s Del Mar!!!
