    Excellent dining experience. Our waiter Jeff was spot on for everything. Steak's were cooked to perfection. The bacon appetizer was fantastic. The onion straws were the best!

    The food was very tasty. The only observation is that my husband and I ordered a 40-ounce steak and it seemed small because normally when we order individual portions for each of us it is the same size, but everything else was good.

    Our experience at New York Prime was just okay. While the steak itself was excellent, the overall experience didn’t quite justify the price tag. The New York Strip was cooked perfectly—no complaints there. It was flavorful, tender, and exactly what you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse. However, the mashed potatoes were a huge letdown. They had little to no flavor and a texture that reminded me of those pre-made Idahoan packs from Kroger. Definitely not what you’d expect for the price. Service was another disappointment. Our server didn’t seem like he wanted to be there at all. He never once checked in to see how our food was or if we needed anything, and overall, the service was slow. His attitude made it feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Overall, while the steak was great, there are definitely better steakhouses in Atlanta that offer a more well-rounded dining experience for the money. If you go, stick to the steak and skip the sides—but be prepared for underwhelming service.
