   This was our second visit to Nest Farmhouse. We very much enjoyed the location and views and the service was very good. However, despite booking weeks in advance and informing Nest Farmhouse of my need for gluten free food I found again that there were only two desserts I could have eaten (one being ice cream) and they were the same two choices on offer to me on our previous visit. Neither option were to my liking. Also there was no alternative offered to me for the cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding which I was unable to eat due to gluten content. I cannot be Nest Farmhouse’s only gluten free diner. It would so easy for a chef to make a few gf Yorkshire puddings and freeze for when required and it would have been nice to be offered an alternative to cauliflower cheese especially when the chef had plenty of notice that a gf diner would be eating in his restaurant. I do hope that in the future this will be something Nest Farmhouse does better.

   Ambiance was reminiscent of South Africa really tranquil and inviting. Service was really good and menu delicious. Wine expensive, food delicious though a bit too saucy/wet for my liking. A little bit “Burnham Maket” set Will definitely go back though but at £175. For two without desert maybe only on special occasions Ps liked that you wiped the table between dishes but would prefer it if table wasn’t left wet.

   Great service and outstanding food - relaxed atmosphere and a great evening out. Just a bit hard to find using Apple Maps!

   Bit of a mixed experience in that parts of the experience were great and others less so. The roadway leading to the restaurant from main road is not well signed at night time. (Would be no problem in daylight hours.) Once we had arrived on site, we were greatly impressed by the new building. We were warmly welcomed and service was prompt throughout. Starters and deserts were excellent, with a homemade version of apple crumble and custard being a stand-out choice. Less convincing: our main meals, which we found just too 'rich'. Just needed a few veg or something else to cut through the richness. It goes without saying that this is a subjective opinion, and other diners may feel quite differently. It's clear that a lot of thought has been given into the creation of this restaurant and features like the pond could be delightful in summer. Would be interesting to return what everything has been bedded in a bit more.

   Yet another superb Sunday dinner! Everything on our plates was perfect, really couldn’t improve on your roast dinner! Best in the area! My only request would be to see a few new dessert options. Service impeccable as ever! Thank you!
